Actually, hung a bike from ceiling, worked just as advertised. Measure twice, then drill once. Bike tires were kind of thick, but no problem in hanging the bike up off the floor and out of the way

Received the hooks in the mail pretty quick. The coating on the hooks seems good and they seem like they'll be pretty durable too. The screw seems well made and I'm sure it'll hold anything I use it for without issue. The hooks are a little smaller than I was expecting but they're definitely going to work for hanging bikes. My package only came with 5 hooks. Contacted the manufacturer (product is distributed by Amazon though) and they responded within 1-2 hours apologizing for the missing hooks. Even though these were distributed by Amazon, the manufacturer informed me they would remedy my issue as soon as possible at no additional cost. Very satisfied overall.

I found these hooks to be even better than I expected. They are being used in my tack room to hang bridles, halters, and ropes. Installation was done vertical to accommodate more than one item. It makes the tack room look neat and organized. Great product at a reasonable price.

You might call these hooks "heavy duty" if you were selling them, because they are certainly heavier than the light-duty hooks commonly found in big box stores. However, they are more accurately classified as "medium duty" because there are heavy duty hooks that are much more rugged than these. These are reasonably well made and plenty suitable for the heaviest (non-electric) bicycles and most other things that homeowners will hang from them but if you really need a true heavy duty hook, keep looking.

They were exactly what I needed. I was putting up netting over and around my garden.. i needed something strong enough to hold the wires i was using to hold up the netting. My garden is around 16feet by 14 feet. I am using fencing at the ground level with nets over it, (or chicken wire fence) then more net above that Plus have netting across the top, trying to keep squirrels and birds out. I needed something that could handle the weight of the nets on top plus any weight from it pulling down on the sides... these are perfect I had to put them in top of shed side of garage and a birch tree to hold all the wires in place at approximately 6 feet high so I can walk and work under it. They did it wonderfully I will add photos when light enoight o get them 😀

I was looking for a clean way to store the bike and this does the job. Other reviews indicate that it's too small since 5 inches compared to the 7 inch one sold on Amazon. If you are only using this to hold one item then this is enough but if you're planning on using one hook to hold multiple items then it's definitely recommended to get one that is bigger. The installation was a breeze and there is no doubt it will stay in place. Plus consider that you get more hooks for the price of the 7 inch ones.

Drilled a pilot hole and then they screwed into the wood just fine. Holds tight. Good quality!!

These hooks are fairly easy to install (I drilled a pilot hole into ceiling studs and then screwed them in by hand) and are sturdy enough for normal use. I hang bikes on them by the nose of the saddle. However, the rubber coating quickly starts coming off with any regular use. Not great if you want to protect whatever you're hanging from them (like a bike). They do the job for now but next time I might try a different product.

Definitely not heavy duty. Tried to hold a hammock up. The hooks just straightened out and I fell to the ground. Ok forbicycle or maybe 50 pounds.

Medium duty is more like it.
