As a novice when it comes to more serious tools, I had my eyes on the Dremel 8240 12v brushless cordless. But it’s +- $150. I wouldn’t compare nor critique an instrument at that level. However, for my needs and learning curve this Snap Fresh rotary 12V far exceeded my expectations. It was also $39 after a $10 off deal. It comes with a nice buckled hard shell case, a clear topped plastic accessory kit, assorted collets, and importantly a flex shaft attachment. It was well packed and in great presentation. Instructions are nicely detailed & straightforward. The assortment of bits and tool pieces are in excellent condition and well made from initial use and inspection. The controls are simple and easy to use. It’s got a power level wheel that is more finely incremental than I’d of expected which is also excellent. Uses USB C charging. ✅ Now at this price point I expected more noise, maybe some unbalanced collets, bits, etc but this set thus far is QUIET!! The flex shaft is very precise and easy to attach once you go over it. It has hardly any vibration and responds well through power settings. *One thing to note because I missed it before buying: It (looks) like it’s got a detachable battery, but it’s not. It’s integrated. It charges through a simple USB C port. So you won’t be able to use multiple batteries for that sort of extended use. However I used it right out of the box without full charge and got 25+ minutes just getting acquainted with it. (Without running it all the way down) Most lithium 12v for this level use are in that 20-30 min range. So if longer sessions are needed, it’ll need a timeout for recharging. But again, it was a great price and it’s NOT some cheap rinky dink type stuff. It’s a very nice tool, it works really well and it’s a great add to my tool set. I can’t take away a star for not having a detachable battery. If it doesn’t hold up, I’ll update the review. Until then, I most certainly recommend it!

I bought this SnapFresh rotary tool mainly for small DIY projects and model making, and I’ve been seriously impressed with the performance. Right out of the box, the kit feels complete and well thought-out. It comes with tons of accessories — sanding drums, cutting wheels, polishing bits, drill bits — you name it. Everything is neatly packed in a solid tool bag that’s easy to carry and organize. The 7-speed adjustment is a game changer. I love that I can slow it down for delicate engraving or crank it up when cutting or grinding. It’s surprisingly powerful for a cordless tool — I’ve used it on plastic, wood, even soft metal, and it hasn’t bogged down. The flex shaft is a huge bonus. It gives me a lot more control when working on finer details without having to hold the whole tool — it’s especially handy for tight spots and curved surfaces. Battery life is solid. I can get through multiple tasks on a single charge, and the fast charger tops it up quickly. Way more convenient than being tethered to a cord. One tip: Don’t overtighten the collet when changing bits — just snug enough works. Also, wear safety glasses, especially when using cutting wheels (learned that the smart way!). If you’re into DIY, crafts, model building, or even light repairs around the house, this kit is a no-brainer. It punches way above its price point. Highly recommend.

Nice Manuel, big easy to read Very nice case, works well,but It does get hot after continues Use, it has no air vents i can find. The charge lites can be confusing if u haven't used it For a time so its not intuitive Like just red and green for when its fully charged or Needs a charge there a 3rd Led that gets in the mix It well layed out in the manual But no oneone feels like checking the Manuel to reference what the leds should löök like. It seems to be well made, but u might need a glove on for lönger use as it gets hot And hard to hoid onto.

The rotary tool is a nice kit that works great and is easy to use with user-friendly controls. It's suprisingly powerful for being a cordless tool. The battery life is decent and a great value for the money. I'm a jewelery maker and I use it frequently.

I had to change my review due to the fact that while in the middle of using this tool, it just quit. Without warning. I never got it to come back on and ended up just purchasing a different one. The tool was only used for about 3 months and maybe 6 or 7 times during those months. It did come with a few accessories, a charging cord and a case.

My first purchase from a different manufacturer was a miserable failure that died luckily within the return window. This unit was only a couple bucks more and way better. Less noisy, less vibration, and perfect performance so far. Doesn’t have LED’s in the nose but IMHO those aren’t necessary and waste battery. The seven speeds comes in handy for use on different materials. The flex cable has really come in handy for tight areas. The plastic case is made well and keeps everything tightly in place. Even the bit case is hefty and nicely laid out. Very pleased!

I’ve used this for a few light DIY projects, and it’s been pretty convenient. It’s easy to hold, comes with a lot of useful accessories, and the cordless design makes it simple to move around. It’s not meant for heavy-duty work, but for small tasks, it does the job well.

Based on the context of the "5 star" reviewers, I'd suggest you take those reviews with a grain of salt. I bought this with the knowledge that it's a typical cheap low grade Chinese product. With that said, The reality is this: a. It's a garbage Chinese product made I'd low grade plastic that IS easy to break. b. Lots of vibration, mostly because it lacks dampening as would be in a higher quality. other than Chinese, product. c. BMS fails to charge the batteries. Done reviews Blane the batteries but it's the trash bms that has failed. d. not 12v, it has three 3.7v batteries that will PEAK for a second almost to 12v and that's how they False label it as 12v. running, useful voltage is around 9v. So, as a final statement, DO NOT waste your money on this product.

I received the first item and it would not charge so I was not able to review it. I contacted seller and immediately got a response. He was kind enough to send me a new unit. No questions asked incredible customer service. The new unit arrived in less than one week after I contacted the seller I received the replacement unit today. It Charged as it should. I let it fully charged and started using the Unit. I am extremely happy with it not only does it function well but the battery Lasted longer than expected. Given the units long battery life and gd torque along with the extremely superb customer service. I would highly recommend this item to anyone

hat mich echt überrascht das gerät, dachte es wäre ein chinaböller aber nö, fliesen die nicht schön geschnitten wurden konnte ich wirklich sehr lange in feinarbeit wieder herrichten ,sortiment auch ok , lediglich hätte ich mir gewünscht mit angeschlossenem kabel das gerät bedienen zu können, aber man kann nicht alles haben für den Presi ,dennoch eine Kaufempfehlung von mir.
