The rack seems rugged, but there were zero instructions on how to put it together. Also there were spare parts (spring nuts) that didn’t seem to go with anything. Total time to put it together, along with four J-bars was 2.5 hours. If I had to do it again, or had directions, I’d guess you could get everything together in an hour. If they had actual instructions I would have given it five stars. If you’re not mechanically inclined, this could be very frustrating.

Product has no instructions, which is a must for a product with so many screws and bolts in the packet. However, if you’re good with tools then you will breeze through the install. It’s not hard to figure out using the pictures in the product ad.Overall great product!

The media could not be loaded. Love the quality and easy to install for someone with experience in crossbar design and function. However, there were absolutely no instructions as well as “extra parts” and nothing indicating their use or placement. The only YouTube video wasn’t complete or helpful other than two guys standing on the installed rack

Bought this so I could do lumber runs, and maybe someday a roof top tent. It was pretty easy to install, but came with no instructions. just a box of parts. Tip is to put each rail together, but do not tight anything until it is on the roof and fitted as desired.The biggest dislike of this is the noise. The kit did come with covers for the t-slots, but they were near impossible to install, and with no instructions,. well...I left them off. Without them, the rails whistle like a freight train. I used to some black Gorilla duct tape to cover the slots, but that is not an ideal solution no a permanent fix.

I like the product and would like it more if they came with instructions!

As another reviewer stated, I, too, was overlanding with a roof tent and some other storage containers weighing approximately 200 lbs (the rack is rated to 330 lbs) when the most annoying loud squeaking sound started. Even when I got back to dry pavement, the squeaking continued. I didn't notice that three of the four gutter mounts had cracked all the way through at the point noted in the attached picture.I drove from San Francisco to Seattle, sometimes reaching 80 mph with the entire load hanging on by only one of the four gutter mounts. The whole load could've slid off my roof on the freeway, potentially causing a severe accident.The gutter mounts need to be reinforced, as at least two reviewers have reported this issue. The bars may be rated to 330 lbs, but the mounting bracket will likely eventually fail.I re-ordered a replacement in good faith, hoping to get a refund since I had the rack for less than a year. At first, this seller offered a full refund, but when they found out I'd already ordered a replacement, they reduced their offer to a $100 credit. When I said I would report them to Amazon, they issued a full refund.

First time ordered I received it missing a couple parts, I was given a replacement and took about a week to receive the replacement, once received I was able to install the roof racks, they were easy to install even without directions, and seem to be incredibly sturdy, I hope to install a rooftop tent on it, it seems like it would be definitely strong enough to hold it, all in all it was worth the wait to get the correct parts, and would order again if need be, thank you.

Cheep made garbage, paint for the brackets were rusty in the first week on use. Paint on the rails pealed right off from weather. Only have had them on for 2 months. Would not buy.The company contacted me after this comment and ended up send me a brand new one. They were very friendly and helpful. Quality of this product is very nice tho, heavy duty
