It’s good at measuring flow of air from an oxygen concentrator that has continuos flow. It’s more difficult on a unit that has a pulse delivery flow, because the pulse of air flow is very quick. It will briefly move the stainless ball, but not as far as a continuous flow unit. The value is good if you are just wanting to know that it is delivering air.

I like this fairly cheap tool to check the oxygen flow that I'm getting. You have to be aware that it checks only the flow pressure, not quality of Oxygen coming out. I use it because sometimes I'm concerned if there is a crack in the tubing, or bad seal and letting the oxygen leak out giving me an incorrect amount of oxygen. I have to report that it is dead-on for accuracy. The ball is the same as the O2 concentrator level reading in the hallway and my nose canula in my bedroom. Glass construction and heavy metal ball. Well made.

If you are on o2 or taking care of someone on o2 then this is a great tool to have.

As an oxygen user, it's a simple, handy and convenient way to check the flow. Lets me compare the flow at the tube end with the numbers on the concentrator.

Works as described and very accurate with Continuous flow hose, But does not work well with Pulse Flow as it is intermittent flow and does not read properly.
