Well, I gave it a try. 3M usually makes good products. Since I am doing some work on my 66 Mustang and using 3m's standard Alum Ox sandpaper, I thought what the heck, if it lasts longer, I'll change paper less often and maybe save some $ in the long run. Didn't happen, here's why. My experience showed my that while this 60 grit paper is more flexible, do to an improved abrasive bonding agent and substrate, it isn't as sharp as standard 60 grit aluminum oxide paper. It did seem to last a little longer, maybe 2x, but nowhere near what the packaging claims. It did crumble less, but it still crumbled. I think the standard paper is a better value and it cuts faster.
