Very good value! The variety of colors of pens and inks endless! Although the brush leaked bad for me so be careful!

I have Pelikan and Sailor Music Writer for special occasions and Lamy pens for everyday use. So I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price. Each pen comes with a ink converter that work well. The pens will take full size Lamy cartridges which are larger than the cartridges that come with the order. They write well and the ink flows smoothly with no leaking so far. I highly recommend these pens and will be buying a second set.

You get what you pay for. These pens and inks aren't high quality, but they are great for a beginner learning calligraphy. I've been able to practice on regular notebook paper with the pens and inks that come with this kit. I've found that the broadest tips have worked best for me as an absolute beginner.

Very impressed with the pens, especially at this price point. The size of the nib per pen stamped on the barrel of the pen is especially useful as is the window in the case that lets you monitor the ink level. The ink is nice and flows nicely when writing.

Abysmal quality, ink does not flow properly, the nib doesn't disperse ink evenly. Total waste of money. Do not buy.

I love the pens and they work great without the inside spring piece, but I'm awful curious to know what to do with that. The directions don't mention it at all which makes them very confusing. I'm afraid to throw it away because it is complex enough to seem purposeful. To add to the confusion, the directions show a pen that is the same orange/red color as this seemingly irrelevant piece the pens had inserted when I disassembled them. It would be great if anyone knows what this is and could clear up the confusion. Either way the pens work great and write very smoothly.
