Nice hanging lamp. My son wanted for his room, it is just as expected and is a nice touch.

I use this to diffuse light for video. I have a corn cob LED light with a 120V plug, and a flat panel battery LED. The corn cob light with the paper lamp is great for table scenes, like a dinner, or a poker game. The flat panel with the battery is great for vlogging. I also have a Bowens mount spherical diffuser that I use with my big lights, but sometimes that is just too damn big. This is a great alternative that I can attach to a ceiling socket. Pros: - It's cheap! - It's really cheap! - Diffuses light really well with super soft light - Fits in smaller spaces, or rooms with 8 foot ceilings instead of 10'+ high. - Super light weight. - Did I mention that it creates super soft light? Cons: - It's made of paper and can rip easily. - Not great if you are outdoors, shooting in the wind and/or rain/snow.

Nicely made and looks great lit

This product arrived in a broken down flattened and taped up amazon box. I almost forgot what i bought. I opened it and it was the lantern! I guess they couldn’t find any other packaging, which is totally fine. Just a heads up. The assembly was pretty straight forward. The rice paper is great and the ball came out cute. I would buy this again. I only wish the cord mount was more solid. mine is at an angle and i’m still trying to bed the wires around it.

I ordered this for a birthday party and was free delivery with Prime. It arrived promptly and was easy to set up. We didn't use a light in it as it was just hanging over the buffet table. The color is just like the picture and the size is nice and big. If I bought this in a store locally, I would have easily paid more than $20 bucks so this price made it even more sweet.

The lantern arrived with a nickel-sized hole in the paper that I had to tape up before hanging. When I tried to mount the cord to the metal frame using the c-shaped mounting, the metal piece broke off. I fortunately had mounting hardware that was included separately with my lamp cable that worked in its place.

I needed something to cover a bare lamp on our old new entrance way. After a visit to West Elm and their ridiculously priced paper lanterns, I found these on Amazon. I actually used two lantern wire supports to fill out both sides of the lantern, then affixed the top of the lantern to the chain so that the bulb is in the middle of the lantern. It is very calming to behold and a great fix for now until we get a more permanent fixture.

I bought this exact item in 2015 and it came with a pendant lamp cord and hooks to hold it to the ceiling. I used it for 4 years and only just ordered another as after 4 years it was looking a little dingy with the dust. I was unhappily surprised to find they no longer include the pendant lamp cord and ceiling hooks with the paper lantern. I began to request a refund, but then decided just to purchase a new pendant cord for it (I had tossed the other pendant lamp cord when this one arrived and did not open the package until the other was gone.) But I liked it well enough to buy another - and the light is soft, pretty and it looks very nice hanging in a corner of the bedroom.

Love it came super quick and was easy to set up and install.

*Update* Seller kindly offered to send me the missing part, so I've adjusted my review. Ordered two, one was missing the essential 'wire expander' part and had a small tear/hole, which I patched with some tissue paper and clear tape. -Arrived very quickly. -Easy to 'assemble'. -Medium quality construction (fragile, no wax coating, small tear) -Good customer service (offered to send missing part)

We don't have a fixture in the middle of our family room so I purchased this lampshade and then the cord to go with it and a smart bulb. It's perfect. We haven't had this amount of light in our family room ever! My toddler affectionately calls it the Moon.
