Nintendo 3DS XL Blue/Black Limited Edition with Mario Party: Island Tour Game (Renewed)

Though this 3DS XL was advertised in its original packaging, it came in a brown box surrounded by bubble wrap. Not going to complain too much there because the Amazon ad did say that refurbished items may come in its original packaging or not. The Device is pretty clean. There was a bit of with grime near the joints where the 3DS Opens but was able to clean that off with a Q-Tip. All the above I can deal with. The one that has me puzzled and upset is the error that the SD Card could not be detected. A SD card was shipped with this device. Once I was done setting up the time, and date, I immediately got that SD card not detected error at the home screen. I tried taking the SD Card out and putting it back in. No Success. I tried a different SD card entirely, and still a no go. I will still keep this device because I read that most if not all 3DS games save data on the cartridges. And at least this 3DS is able to play games. So I'm happy there. But I will not be able to play some games that do require an SD Card. So that sucks. Would have given this 5 stars, if the SD Card Reader wasn't jacked up. Update: 01/10/25 After 4 different sd cards and air cleaning the sd slot, I finally found one that works! Able to fully take advantage of all functionality of the 3DS now. Review gets 5 stars now. Love this thing!

I got this refurbished 3ds fast. So far it's been great! Quality wise it's like new. I can't find any signs of use. My guess is that it was returned originally before anyone played it very long. You should imagine a brand new 3ds but has also been thoroughly inspected. I love the blue and black color. The only note is that you should not expect the box. Only the console and the game. But overall it's playing great with no issues! Very happy!

Unit looks to be in new or near-new condition. Didn't notice any significant wear, scratches or screen issues. Unit powered on, came with Mario Party Island Tour cartridge and charger. Did not come with a stylus. I'd say this was well worth the money. My daughter loves the unit so far. I may get one for myself too.

Worked great, looks great, good seller. We bout our fist one from a different refurb seller and it was defective. Not fun to give people Christmas presents that don’t work. This seller delivered, highly recommend, good shipping speed.

Item was not as described upon arrival. The console was not able to charge and wouldn't function as described in the listing. It made a weird clicking noise when attempting to power on but wouldn't do anything. I'm currently trying to be refunded by the seller but they're claiming the item that was returned was not the one they sent. Had to get Amazon involved for the dispute.

we waited so long to get a 3ds game console and thought it could be connected to tv but we were wrong... at least we are able to play 3ds Mario games !
