The Body Shop Shea Lip Butter, 0.34 Fl Oz

Been using this for years. I love Body Shop products. This keeps my lips moist, don’t irritate my skin, and lasts a long time.

I love this lip balm. The feeling of it is wonderful. The scent is so yummy that my Chihuahua tries to lick my mouth after I have applied it. She is attracted to yummy scents of creams that I use and this lip butter is no exception. She is weird like that.

I love this! For several years I have used only this for moisturizing and protecting my lips. I also use it under my eyes and any other especially dry places on my face. It slides on easily, moisturizing well with a very light pleasant taste. My favorite is the Coconut one, it also comes in Strawberry, Mango and maybe another 1 or 2 flavors. Initially I paid $6 for one. Then it became almost impossible to find as I heard The Body Shop products were no longer being sent to the US for sales. I searched and found some on eBay at over twice the cost but I love it enough to pay that. Lately I have found some here on Amazon again at $8 so I’m back here ordering more. Don’t know what I will do if the time comes that I can’t find anymore at a decent cost. It’s truly the best lip moisturizer I have used in the past 20 years!

great for moisturizing

The Body Shop has two lines, lip butter and lip balm. The lip balm (born lippy) is a waxy formula, sometimes brightly colored depending what n the flavor, and often comes in fruit flavors. The lip butter looks more like a very rich lotion or cream. This product was sold as lip butter, the photo says lip butter, and the label on the package says lip butter. But the formula of the product is lip BALM. It is NOT the lip butter formula. I prefer the lip butter and have used for years as a lip mask, for instance at night. I visited The Body Shop website and they have the same new label. I haven’t been able to visit a shop to see if they actually did change their formula in person. If they did change their formula, I would be very disappointed.

These have the same labels but they are definitely different inside. The left, what I’m use to, is a bit thicker and creamier, the right is lighter, has a weird smell and looks as if it’s been sitting in containers for months. Not happy at all, money wasted because I opened them all hoping the next container was like the original one I have😡😡 Money Wasted!

Received this as a gift in 2018 and immediately liked it. It has no funky taste and the shae butter makes my lips feel wonderful. This is good stuff!

Feels luxurious and smells delicious.

It looks like my product is off. It was a yellow off colour and smelt funny. I could not return such a waste of money

This lip balm had no scent unlike another Body Shop lip balm I've had open for around 2 years. It was also a strange colour. I'll use it but wouldn't order another one.
