This product is useful for dealing with dry mouth, especially while sleeping. Unfortunately, the better it works, the less time it will last. That is, the more it helps you to produce saliva, the faster that saliva will wash away the gel. One way of dealing with this issue that works for me is to combine this product with a bite plate such as The Doctor's Night Guard. Place the gel in the guard so it will be held in place between your teeth and the guard. That way, it seeps out slowly and can last for several hours while you sleep. XyliMelts is another helpful product that can be used in addition to this one.
