Made it work
I have a dyson ball roller vacuum and my brush was missing almost all of its bristles. I reached out to dyson to see what replacement would fit my model and they directed me to a $30 brush and wanted $10 shipping and then added on a % off coupon if I just wanted to buy a whole new vacuum. #1) I cannot handle paying $40 for a roller brush, #2) I am not buying from a company who is going to suggest I toss a perfectly good vacuum - I have no confidence in their products or customer service at this point.Enter, this roller brush. I was looking for a knock-off on Amazon and ran across this one, I measured my brush and it was about a quarter inch longer than this but I ordered it anyways. I got TWO of these cheaper than I could order just 1 from dyson. These were easy to install and compatible with my vacuum. Because it was quarter inch less brush, when I tried to run the vacuum on carpet it stopped spinning. I'm no engineer but I realized the issue could be solved by adding a spacer. I ended up putting a quarter inch plastic tubing (it was a clipping from the air hose for my fish tank which is about the diameter of your average straw) on the pin that secures the brush to the vacuum head. This provided enough pressure for the brush to push up against the roller mechanism in the vacuum head and now it is working perfectly. So, if you're worried this isn't quite the right size for your vacuum, you can probably make it work with a little rigging and save yourself a lot of money.

This Works just Fine
Right size, right design, and works on my hardwood floors just great. Would recommend.Be careful that the correct size is ordered .. measure twice then order.

It’s ok
The dog hair doesn’t get sucked up. Not sure why this is happening because the roller is going but it’s annoying.

Doesn’t seem to stay firm as long as the dyson ones.
They became soft much faster than the ones that came with it. But still better than my worn out ones.
