Frame Saw works as advertised.
This worked well for the money. Obviously not the most sophisticated version of this saw but adequate for the price.

Save your money
Looked real good in the picture….. really nice idea. Poorly engineered. You have to beat on the end of the blade to attach the handle. Then come to find out one of the internal guide posts won’t allow the handle to fit properly. At that point I quit. I would send it back, but I tossed the box. Waste of money.

Tiny Hobbyist Balsa & Other Wood and Plastic Miter 54 TPI Bladed Saw
I like to do woodworking and around the house DIY projects as well as most of my own vehicle mechanic work. Fixing my own stuff is enjoyable with the right tools at hand. Sometimes I need a small piece of wood cut to a precise angle. With care this will do an angled cut on wood or plastic stock up to 5/8 inch thick x 2 inches wide. This is NOT sturdy or rugged. If I only need to cut a popsicle stick or a bit of balsa wood this will do it. The angle is settable but the whole miter is mostly plastic and not intended for anything but limited light use IMHO. I have dropped 1 Star due to that. When assembling the handle on the blade it is crucial I use minimal screw torque as this is not made to be tightened forcefully and absolutely not with a cordless hex driver. The instructions are good. I can at best give a Limited 4 Star Recommendation for this Micro-Mark Brand The Dobson Miter-Rite. The flimsiness limits the miter's usefulness. I hope you’ve found the information and my review helpful.

flimsy
it's hard to keep the blade straight since what holds it is made of thin flimsy plastic

Perfect for cutting doll house molding
very small and delicate tool. I wish there were screw holes in the bottom for securing to your bench. but for cutting doll house chair rail, base board, and crown molding its what I need!

Great tool
Cutting base needs to be replaced frequently. Need access to replacement parts. Other wise this is the best tool in my box.

Works great for my needs
This is a small miter box and that's fine - I bought a pair of beautiful pieces of artwork that were hand painted and sent in a rolled pipe. That meant I needed a frame. Because of the size of the paintings, it was way cheaper to make my own - 40"x36" frame. Bought a couple of furring strips from the home store and used this miter box to cut them to the correct size. I bought some 90 degree flat corner brackets to make the frame more sturdy, then wrapped the painted canvas around the frame and stapled it with the heavy-duty type staples. This little miter box worked perfectly for my needs.
