Red Rose Orange Pekoe Tea 418g Box/144 Tea Bags (Imported from Canada)

Finally! I found some Orange Pekoe tea, in a large box. No one I know likes Earl Gray. How did it get so popular?

Came in soft package which arrived crushed but in original cellophane with home printed avery label expiration sticker with a date that absolutely MATCHED the date printed on the crumpled box itself under the crumpled factory cellophane. Lots of dust in the battered box but bags intact. A quick shake and into an airtight container. First bag in 14 ounce pot steeped at about 205F perfect for my taste of straight black tea at 4-5 minutes, but could certainly handle hotter and longer if you prefer milk and sugar or other additions. Superior to Red Rose Original. Yes, there are many loose leaf teas and a few bagged teas of more preferable taste, however, the knowledge that this is a third party tested 100% pesticide free tea makes it that much sweeter and 1000% more enjoyable than tea containing pesticides within acceptable levels. Seriously, I show you 31 varieties of tea and tell you they all contain at least some of one or most likely several potentially harmful pesticides, but all at "acceptable" levels, what choice are you going to make? I break with the concept of "acceptance of risk" when it comes to literally eating food with poison sprayed on it when there is at least an adequate non-poison alternative. Call me crazy. I do want to see Red Rose Orange Pekoe continue to be tested by third parties to confirm and maintain this pesticide free status.

The best-tasting tea ever - AND pesticide-free! I did a side-by side taste comparison with other plain black teas brands. It was the hands-down winner.

When this order came to me the boxes of tea were open. There was no clear wrap on any of the 4 boxes. The actual boxes were open.

It tastes very good, and I like it a lot.

This tea is very aromatics and makes the best iced tea!

This is a great tasting tea

It is a nice addition to my evening roll routine. I lock myself in my bedroom, watch BH 90210 (the original) pull out a paint by numbers thingy and have a cup of tea. The painting is mindless, the show is so bad, it’s cringy, but in a good way and the tea never lets me down. I could talk about the heat, and sweetness of my tea but that’s all my doing. But it’s a critical part of my children being alive, so the tea gets major props!!

I'm not sure if this particular batch measures up to the standard I expect. I would describe the taste as a tiny bit fishy, and three of the first 8 pots of tea I've had out of this box have had leaky bags. Of course tea leaves are far from toxic, but I don't prefer loose leaf tea, and straining my tea is an annoyance.
