Good value, easy & fun to use
I like the selection of nibs, also the two wands which give more options & how quick the nibs are to heat up then cool down. Excellent product

Best beginner pyrogravure on Amazon, barring a couple of minor points.
Overall a decent pyrography kit for beginner level. It's well constructed so it should last. Couple of down points - The pen holders are a little bit naff, being plastic. In the item I received, they appear different from the ones in the picture. Although they function okay, I feel they could be a bit more weighted as they might slide around a desk too easily. To get around that I'm going to make my own pen holder out of wood to replace the plastic holders at some point. The pen and power unit themselves are good enough however. The pens have a nice grip, are solidly built, and the temperature control is as fine as they claim. I did feel quite a bit of heat through the pen on the tip of my index finger after about an hour or so of use however, with the temperature just below the 500 mark. While some pyrographers don't like to wear gloves, some advise it, so you might consider it with this one, or wear a rubber finger guard if the heat becomes a problem. The range of nibs supplied is good, as it includes every standard pyrography nib you'll ever need (skews, writers and shaders of varying sizes), plus more. For comparison I've used a rather old and somewhat mistreated Peter Child's pyrogravure at the community workshop I've been attending. That one appears to be popular with professionals as it has a robust, metal build, but they are pricey and the nibs are a little more tricky to switch over. Not so with this one. You can switch nibs very easily, allowing time to cool of course, and having the pair of pens rather than a single one does save some hassle.Barring the two minor issues I mentioned (which is why I've given 4/5 stars rather than 5/5), this is a perfectly good pyrogravure for the home workspace, and for the price you can't complain. I'm overall happy with my purchase.

Seababyhouse pyrography unit
Not yet arrived. Highly recommended to me. As a beginner I was using the soldering iron type with interchangeable tips but been advised to get this type as its more of a regulated heat. And with the digital readout it's easy to see the heat setting. And with two pens you can have different nibs on so you can have a fine and a shading tip on.
