Very bright!
So I installed this product on my boat that did not have any previous lights so the wiring took a long time. However, these look very good and they look solid. They are very bright and they add great functionality to the boat. They are a great bang for the buck too because they are relatively cheap and so far they have lasted pretty long.

For the price they’re awesome
Easy to mount seem durable enough and they’re pretty bright. I like the blue light vs white it’s easier on the eyes and doesn’t seem to attract bugs as much

Bright, neutral light - but not a direct Perko retrofit.
I am fairly pleased with the light output and color temp of these lights. They are not "blindingly" bright as I had feared, and they are a fairly neutral color temp... not exactly warm white, but definitely not the cold blue "cool white" that I was hoping to avoid. So... I am happy with the illumination these offer. One potential drawback is that the mounting holes are NOT really 2.48" as specified. Mine measure almost exactly 2-3/8" (2.375"), which is just different enough that they do NOT directly replace my old Perko light fixtures. It's not close enough to use the existing holes, so I will either have to drill one more hole, or spin the entire fixture 90 degrees and drill two new holes. This is only an issue if you're intending to replace existing halogen/incandescent lights on an older boat or RV with a 2.5" hole spacing. The light engine appears to be a sealed plastic assembly, so will hopefully be fairly waterproof. But, I'm not able to separate the light engine from the "chrome" housing, to inspect how well the seams are glued. The housing is just a "chrome plated" plastic, as others have observed. It attracts fingerprints really easily, but generally looks very nice. I'm comfortable with this material, for a *freshwater* boat which gets occasional rain and washdowns, but no salt spray. I'd recommend a different (stainless steel) product if you are on or near saltwater.I've only installed 2-3 of these, so far, so I cannot comment on the quality (all 10 lights working) or durability of the lights.

Excellent replacement!
Needed to replace 30 year old exterior lights. These were a perfect match and wow what a brightness difference. Screw holes matched up perfectly. Highly recommend

Cheap plastic made to look like Perko lights
Will not fit in place of Perko or Atwood lights. These are cheap plastic housings and the screw holes don't align with original Perko lights if that's what you're replacing. Other than that, they seem ok. I'll try them in my bilge for some extra lighting.
