A delicious cut of meat, perfect to bring in the new year. Exquisite flavor and texture, this is some of the best venison available on the market. Well worth the wait and the price. We used a venison roast recipe and the family enjoyed every last bite. Don’t be discouraged by some of the reviews. It was noted that some have suggested that the portion was a lot smaller than what might be expected otherwise. They would do well to keep in mind that this product is imported to the United States from New Zealand and it is a different species of animal than the typical Whitetail deer found in North America. So keeping that in mind, you will not be disappointed with your purchase. A perfect meal to enjoy with family and friends.

Simply amazing! Arrived frozen. We smoked it at 375 until it was 140 degrees. Perfect medium rare.

Delicious, but don’t expect it to be large

The price was painful for the amount of meat. We plan to add it to our Thanksgiving celebration, trying to somewhat duplicate the first Thanksgiving feast.

This is so small, I’ve been an avid hunter my entire life however I now live in the city, and getting venison is harder to acquire in my current state. I am pretty disappointed in the quality and size of this purchase. I feel the seller kind of misrepresented this with pictures and description.

It was my first time grilling deer. If done right, this will be heavenly in the belly. I found it very enjoyable. Yeah, it looks like a tiny sized rack but it packs a big flavor to enjoy. It came unfrozen in a foam box cooler, with packets of what seemed to be dried ice.

Shipped quicker than expected, and received sufficiently chilled and well sealed. The gift will be utilized for the upcoming holidays!
