Adapted for Yakima HD bar on Rhino Rack legs
Used these to build a custom roof rack system with Yakima HD crossbars and Rhino Rack RLT600 legs. Ground down lips of plastic adapter with bench grinder to match profile of crossbar (see pics). Used the 21x24x4 mm square nuts supplied with the RLT600 leg kit to hold down crossbar and had to purchase M6x25 mm socket head cap screw for the right length. Also took a 1/2” L- bracket and ground down to 11 mm wide for opening slot of crossbar, to minimize shifting of crossbar. Just drove 1700 miles with a loaded rooftop carrier, no issues (but I keep spare bolts on hand in case one snaps).
