BEST VALUE FOUND, AFTER NUMEROUS SITE SEARCHES.
the only way to go, I a "CLAMP" like this one (in lieu of) WEIGHT is a much better choice. Unlike a weight it causes virtually NO BEARING. However, Beware, it must have a clamping mechanism like this one, (a mechanical pencil design) and there only a FEW out there. This ONE is all you need and it's well made, small, simple 3 piece, All powder coated black / anodized aluminum, it's easy to use, effective, a VERY good value and as an Added benefit, your albums can be properly brushed / cleaned without L.P. spinning and causing groove damage. THIS ONE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !

Works perfectly
It is a plastic clamp, and it just does the work. It fits to the axle of the turntable, and then after tightening it, it holds the record together with the plate. Although it is working just fine, my fingers slipped a few times, so I did a little improvement, this helps with the tightening/opening, see pic.

good
was hoping it would've been a bit heavier and the little soft part at the bottom was uneven. but besides that, solid product

Perfect For belt drive turntables
This record weight is a bit lighter than the more thicker ones, this one is a lightweight but still does the job I like to use this one with portable record players and belt drive turntables because it doesn't interfere with the spin of the record doesn't cause any damage to the belt Drive. It's smaller than most record weights and that's what makes it attractive for portable player use and belt drive turntables I like the shine it is incredibly beautiful in person makes the turntable look great and it also adds some weight to your vinyl so that your stylist can pick up a better base response from the music, have you ever tried using one? Try using this one before using a larger one because the larger ones can cause damage to your belt drive I only recommend those for direct drive professional turntables . tried this one I recommend it and I am satisfied.

Inexpensive and not great
You get what you pay for. A super simple clamp, but after a bit the collet machines the plastic, and it becomes impossible to tighten against the spindle since the cone is getting cut away. If it included a way to key the collet so it couldn’t rotate in the plastic it would be a very nice clamp.
