Can the side buttons be disabled? my thumbs keep hitting them by accident and then I have to start filling out forms all over again. It's a problem.

You can change the primary mouse button between right and left but my dialogue box doesn't seem to allow for disabling the side buttons.

Just bought this, windows 10 is asking for a pin can't get it to connect. what do i do?

When activating the mouse utilizing the WINDOWS Bluetooth Device utility, if you wait too long, or attempt to add it too many times it will then ask for a PIN. There is no PIN. If/when that transpires you will need to repeat the following process over again. Start by removing the mouse from the WINDOWS Bluetooth Device catalog, IF it is registered, by utilizing the WINDOWS BLUETOOTH utility. Scroll down to where the mouse is listed and remove the device from your Bluetooth device list. If it isn't registered and WINDOWS is still requesting a pin. BE CERTAIN that it hasn't erroneously registered it and then reboot your device. The 3 position switch on the underside of the mouse is the selector for either BT or USB 2.4. Allow the mouse to be registered as a USB device first. This gives you the option of utilizing it in either BT or USB, whichever works best for your LAN environment. Insert the micro dongle into the USB port. Allow WINDOWS to recognize and activate the mouse in USB mode. Depending on your system configuration, you may need to utilize a wired USB mouse until you get this mouse registered in WINDOWS. I always save myself the potential frustration by plugging in a wired mouse no matter what. Once it is registered in WINDOWS as a USB peripheral, you can then utilize the Bluetooth utility in order to pair it up with WINDOWS. Open the WINDOWS Bluetooth utility program in the control Panel. Then attempt pairing up again. You should initiate the pair with the mouse by placing the 3 position selector switch, that is located on the underside, into the BT position and then depressing the little round button on the underside of the mouse for several seconds. You will notice that the blue light in the mouse will begin to rapidly blink, indicating that it has transitioned into pairing mode. WINDOWS may list the mouse twice, once as BM20-3 and again as BM20-5. It is BT 5.0 device that is backward compatible. I ignore the double registration as it simply eliminates the frustration of removing it often, plus, it adds another level of functionality.
