The item is very good, I like it very much.

I'm about to run out of thread for my industrial sewing machine, plus I wanted to have a couple other colors on hand that I don't use very often just in case I need them. I didn't want to pay a lot for a bunch of thread that I'm going to use infrequently, so when I saw this multi-pack I thought it seemed like a good deal. I ordered another single roll of the same type of thread, #69, bonded nylon, 1500 yards from another company to see how they compare.I'm glad I did, because the difference is very clear. Both of these rolls are the same height on the same diameter spool and yet the one from this company is significantly less full. For 4 rolls of different colors at less than the price of two rolls from this other company, it still seems like not a bad deal. However, I seriously doubt that these rolls are as long as they claim to be and at the weight of thread they claim to be, considering the serious visual descrepancy on the two brand new, unused spools. If they are only 1000 yards (or less), fine, just don't make false claims.Other than that, I noticed that the end frayed very quickly and very badly. I clipped the end--multiple times--and before even trying to thread the needle, it unravels worse than any other thread I have used. I seriously doubt that this is bonded nylon. I don't yet know how this will behave in my machine once I am able to get it to thread through the eye of the needle (which will in itself be a challenge). Hopefully it doesn't break or bind up. Either way, this will certainly not be my go-to thread.

Works well with the Chinese sewing machines

I hand-sew, so I can't comment on machine usabilty. The thread itself is consistent, cuts well without fraying and I have had no issues with it.

The gray and brown are much darker than they appear in the picture but still usable. The thread tends to fray a bit in use but had not broken on my project. I may try a different brand/vendor next time. You get what you pay for.
