This harness is excellent for dogs that back-out of regular harnesses. I have a shelter rescue dog that is easily spooked by loud noises or sudden movements of people. When she gets scared, she backs out of the harness and starts running. After a few of those harrowing experiences, I found this harness and once the straps are placed snuggly, she is unable to escape the harness and she and I are now much safer on our walks. Highly recommend. I just bought a replacement harness because the first one was bought in Feb 2023 and the clip that ties the front harness and back harness together just broke - so it lasted about 2 years. I bought a new one because it is the best harness for a dog that can easily escape a regular harness. It takes a few minutes to figure it out the first time but you get used to it after a few walks. Tip, the spongy slip covers in the back slip over the back straps preventing the dog from peeing on the straps, unfortunately, it took me a year to realize that!

My 13 yo Corgi has DM and back legs are struggling to stay under him. Figured we’d try a harness, but held out little hope, as he really doesn’t like his belly touched or rubbed and he is skittish about being messed with. After reassuring him repeatedly, I got it on. Seemed tight under his front arms and walking in it looked uncomfortable. After reviewing pictures and videos of product I made a few adjustments. I shortened the straps that go in front of his front legs (has no buckle here, but is adjustable) - this pulls the under portion forward so those straps hit higher on his chest and don’t cut into his pits. The 1st set of buckles is at the chest area, note the handle portion isn’t at the neck - it is just behind the shoulders. I adjusted the back to fit length and girth, not snug. Now he lets me put it on with no fuss, he actually mades a little hop when he gets picked up. He gets it! It may even help his legs stay up under him a little better. Still let him walk as much as he wants, but steps and distance are tough. He seems happy about his new reality, he never ceases to amaze me! Our reality is we will have to say goodbye soon, he is such a happy boy!

My dog, Jenny, is a 13 year-old beagle/hound mix who has lost so much muscle in her hind legs that she sometimes has difficulty standing up. My vet recommended this full body harness. Jenny's chest measures 27 inches and her weight is 39 pounds. By chest measurement the Amazon sizing chart puts her in either a medium or large size but by weight she belongs in a large. So I ordered a large. After getting all the straps as short as possible, the harness was still very loose. Since I was still within the return period I ordered a medium, figuring that one of them would fit better than the other and I'd return the other. When the mediium arrived the first thing I noticed was that the long shoulder strap was missing. Then I noticed that the factory packaging, a zip-lock bag with Cloodeo emblazoned had a sticky area with remnants of what I believe was a shipping label. I believe this was a return which had never been checked. That's sloppy. That's the reason for downgrading from a five to a four. Eventually, with the help of my daughter ("Are you sure there's nothing between a medium and a large?} we got the medium to work ... mostly. I won't leave it on her 24 hrs/day but it should be good enough for getting her in and out of the Wrangler. My first impulse was to return the large but keep the long strap since that was missing on the medium. But then I thought that someone else would probable get my return and be cheated out of the strap. And I'm not sure it's that useful, anyway, but Amazon needs to pay attention. If their description says a strap is included they damn well should check the package to make sure it contains a strap.

What I have - 2 90+lbs German Shepherds one is partially disabled due to a birth defect and cannot use his back legs 100% Where to start... over engineered too much of EVERYTHING... Straps, pulls, clips... BUT no real instructions on the W5's The clipping plastic pieces feel and are cheap... they will break and quickly The front end fits... ok the shoulders are a problem and the degree to which you can adjust them is horrible.... IF YOU HAVE TO DISASSEMBLE SOMETHING TO THIS DEGREE TO GET IT TO WORK... YOU MADE GARBAGE..... you WILL spend more time putting this on your dog then it is worth.... The back end, no matter how you mess with it will not fit your dog.... its like the built it, took the correct end and replaced it with one 3 times bigger then it needs to be... The back end WILL cover your dogs genitals and they will pee on it... The only way to get this to fit correctly is to cut off lengths of strap, yes CUT the straps to make it fit... or order 2 of them and mix and match?? also there are sleeve coverings?? on the back ends straps that make it even MORE difficult to adjust.... like the sleeve it longer then the length needed by ANY DOG EVER.... Save your self pain, hassle, and a headache... just throw a towel under them, lift them down to what ever your doing and go about your business.

Ok, so we got a medium for our Baby with IVDD. We fussed with it for hours on the back end and it was too tight. I would really appreciate a description of how tight it should be. Like 2 fingers between her and the vest or whatever it is supposed to be. Poor thing, she was so patient. We LOVE the lifting handles as we are seniors and I have the same condition. We could not figure out if it is the vest or us, so we exchanged it to try/start over. Speedy delivery and very excited as we have mandatory places to be. It is FILTHY DIRTY GROSS! Hair and who knows what all. It was not just tried on. It was awful. I don't know who's responsible for that issue but they did not clean it. I ordered new but at least clean will do. Now gotta figure out what to do. More later when we figure it out. Sending replacement back. Will figure out the original. Am copying this to send in the package.

MUY PELIGROSO Compré este producto para mi pastor alemán de 34kg con problemas en las patas traseras. Compre la talla adecuada a su peso. Al mes de utilizarlo se descosió una de las costuras ( adjunto foto) . Llame para reclamar y me dijeron que para la devolución o cambio de producto tenía que enviarlo, y una vez enviado me enviarían o devolverían el producto. Vivo en un piso sin ascensor, así que si lo devuelvo antes, como hago para sacar a mi perra 4 veces al día?Ayer se rompió otra costura ( adjunto foto )y mi perra y yo caímos por las escaleras haciéndonos mucho daño los dos. MUCHÍSIMO CUIDADO!!! No es un producto seguro. Deberían asegurarse que las costuras aguantan lo suficiente. Nos podíamos haber matado.

Le harnais est de bonne qualité rien a redire Il est également trés pratique le seul souci le harnais n'est pas vraiment adapté au male Nous avons du coué un bout du harnais au niveau des parti ne notre chien pour que ca ne le dérange pas . Mais sinon rien a redire
