Know your limitations
I really like this little saw and bought it primarily for cutting 2x4s. Just be aware that, with its 7-1/4" blade, you are only going to be able to cut at an angle of about 60 degrees (30 degrees on the miter table's scale) and still make it all the way through a 2x4. Anything less than 60 degrees will require you to switch the miter the opposite direction and flip the board over for a final cut at that angle. The blade is not large enough to make it all the way through a 2x4 at any angle <60 degrees. I certainly can't remove any stars for this limitation and I do really like the tool; however, if you are buying it to cut 2x4s, this is something to be aware of. Beyond that, it's a great little saw and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Good for small wood working projects.
It's hard to find something I dont like about it. Built well. Comes with a dust collector. Can be rotated for cutting angles. I'm handicap and it's easy enough for me to use.

BURNED UP AFTER 5 HOURS
Lucky us! We purchased the extended warranty. My German husband has logged in the Black Forest and has been cutting firewood here in the US since he was 10-12 years old. Which is to say he knows about using saws. He mounted this saw on a sturdy table and began cutting up old 2 x 4s for firewood. The saw sparked and then burned up the brushes after 5 hours. We will be contacting the warranty company now. I will update this review, if possible, to report our experience with the warranty.

Lack of replacement parts availability. Throwaway saw?
I’ve enjoyed using this saw for small projects up to this point. However, parts availability seems to be lacking. B&Ds own website says to order parts off the diagram and when the diagram link is pressed it says “not available”. Any other parts website does not list this saw.The part in question is the blade bolt and it immediately snapped when I tried to remove it for the first time. Admittedly I tried to turn it the wrong way but it sure snapped off easily. Hopefully parts availability will improve but until then I’d stay away.

PERFECT for those smaller jobs
I do a lot of crafts and while I have a full-sized miter saw that handles much larger jobs, this one is PERFECT for those smaller jobs. It's easy to handle and does a great job!
