PROHEAR GEP02 Gel Ear Pads for Howard Leight by Honeywell Impact Earmuffs

Fabulous upgrade or replacement for the stock ear pads. Firstly, while I do not have a way to objectively measure the improvement in attenuation these provide over the stock pads, I can say that it at least conforms to eyeglasses or eye protection much better than the stock pads. As such, it is reasonable to expect some improvement in sound attenuation performance. Secondly and probably more notable is the increase in comfort. These are very soft and compliant and the difference here is very noticeable. Other considerations are the perfect fit to the Howard Leight Impact Sport and ease of installation. Highly recommend this. My earpros are over 12 years old, still work very well and this gives it another lease on life but also improves on the original.

I'm super pleased with these replacement pads. They are soft and comfortable and create a good seal around the ear. On the farm we have 6 sets of earmuffs - we try to have a set by each piece of machinery. We have several old Bilson's and then a few newer Howard Leight by Honeywell, L3's. I'm pleased to say that these replacement pads fit both of those models. The earmuffs themselves are indestructible - but the ear pads do harden and crack over time. It's so nice to be able to replace the ear pads at a reasonable price and keep using the original earmuffs. They fit right in to the 8 "tabs" in the ear cup and are held securely. These also have a 3M adhesive patch in the ear pads and you can remove the paper "cover" on that if you want them held in more securely. I did not use that - the tabs work just fine for me. 5 Stars for the comfort, the fit, and the value.
