Bought this a few years back and while I couldn’t care less about the “woo” aspects and suspect I would’ve been just as happy with the thermal properties of plain quartz as with jade/tourmaline, this thing is absolutely amazing when I’m cold and in pain. The mesh holding the stones is smooth and unnoticeable and the stones themselves are smooth, flat and get oh so warm. Only downsides to it are it’s heavy (hard to avoid when it’s literally a mat full of rocks) and the controller screen is kinda crap (still works though!). I’m on the tall side (5’10) and it’ll give me heat from the top of my neck down to my toes so it’s actually long enough too. I don’t regret using my FSA on this whatsoever.

I've been living in pain for the last week with a herniated disc in my lower back. Very relaxing. Works perfectly. It was hard to drop so much on a heated mat, since it's so similar to much cheaper mats/blankets, but so far I'm glad I spent the money. It is much more effective at relaxing tight muscles, due to the more even heat distribution. One it heats up, the stones radiate heat and provide a nice even muscle relaxing warmth. Gets very hot, much hotter than I normally need, which is another big plus. I've found heated blankets for example generally are very weak and take a long time to heat up, this does not. I cannot comment on any claims about special properties of gemstones, negative ions, etc... I bought this primarily for even distribution of radiant heat expected from such a surface, and it works.

PROS: Very well-made high quality product. The heat is deep-penetrating and feels amazing on the body! I love that with the included heat trapping blanket you can use it as an infra-red sauna too. CONS: Strong smell, off-gassing like crazy. The chemical smell is so strong I had to move it away from my bedroom. Very stiff and hard to lay on overnight even with cushioning on top, understandably as it’s made of stones, not suitable for an overnight sleep, unless you like to sleep on a stone slab. Very loud on the bed too, every move makes a loud sound. I bought it in hopes to sleep on it, no such luck.

Terrific Investment in your health! I love my tourmaline and jade natural far infared healing mat. I have seen extremely positive results in pain reduction, digestive health, and reduction of inflammation. HIGHLY recommend this mat!!! You are worth it and you'll be glad you got it...

I have owned a total of 4 of these. The first one was great, worked incredibly but broke after a year (started to over heat and actually burned a couch pillow). Second one arrived broken, electronic connection wasn’t attached and wires exposed. Third one lasted one day and the same electronic connection broke and left exposed wires again. This is where I wanted to get customer service to explain why the first one I had didn't have this issue. I really enjoyed the first one (besides it only lasting a year) and wanted to believe in the product. The customer service communication took 6 months, finally I was able to return the heating pad. But I wasn’t sure on the honesty of the company, so I confirmed with amazon that I would get my money back if this seller didn’t give me my money. Amazon said they would reimburse if the seller did not. I sent my heating pad back, waited a month and a half, and still no money back in my account. I reached out to Amazon and they assured me they opened a complaint about the company, and Amazon would be reimbursing me my money. It was after the complaint was opened i heard from the seller again. Completely uninformed and then told me they never received anything back even after I provided picture evidence. What a waste of time to talk with this seller. Do yourself a favor and get the more expensive brand. You’ll be happy you did.
