Good product and value, new package is pressed into a small brick, but it is the same 5 oz as our last purchase. Looks nice on the orchids.

I'm not sure what I was expecting for $10, but this was a pleasant surprise! I was wanting some moss to put around the base of a fake ficus so that one didn't just see a gaping planter with a plastic tree base inside. This moss came in such a small package that I was afraid it might not be enough. Within seconds of soaking it in warm water, it rehydrated into a massive pile of gorgeous moss. I am delighted with my finished project! In case it might matter to someone, I do want to mention that the rise water was very murky, so rinse well. Also, rehydrating released what I found to be a wonderful earthy smell like walking in a forest after a rain, but someone else might not care for it as much as I did. Overall, excellent quality and a great value! My Star Scale: 5 Stars: I love everything about it! 4 Stars: Room for improvement but still a great buy! 3 Stars: Has potential but may not be everyone's cup of tea. 2 Stars: Worked okay but wouldn't buy again. 1 Star: Don't waste your money.

This is high quality, long-sized fiber, clean moss. I got about 4 gallons after semi-hydrating the 10 oz package. The smell is that of a PNW after a heavy summer rain. I've purchased other moss that was similarly rated on Amazon, and it was horrible. Tiny, bits, brown, putrid smelling, and it was filled with strips of plastic. By comparison, this moss here is a definitive 5 stars from me. It should work amazing for my climbing epiphytes and for propagation of many plants. It retains moisture without being soggy.

I really like this moss for my orchids. It looks natural and clean and instantly makes the pots look nicer and more put-together. It's not as green in color as I was expecting but does a great job as a top layer and helps keep moisture in without looking messy. Just a heads up as there is a strong woodsy scent when you mist and fluff the moss, but it fades after the moss dries. Product comes as a hard block. A little goes a loooong way, especially when using it just as a topper. I bought the 5oz size but probably could have used the smaller 2 oz. Overall, it’s a solid buy and I think its perfect for my needs.

You get so much for 5 oz! Smells great! Quick hydration and low maintenance. Quality id perfect for use in moisture retention. I use this for my bonsai trees. I think when I need more I'll Def order again.

I‘m impressed with the high quality of this ethically harvested moss. It’s the genuine thing with no dyes or brown sticks added. Don’t worry about the small size when it arrives as it expands as you soak it in water. Congratulations to Duspro and Lucy who had a vision that led her to overcoming great adversity to build up this company. Bravo! Use; I line wire containers and birdcages with cocoa fiber, fill halfway with 50/50 mix of potting soil and perlite, then plant succulents. The cocoa fiber is brown so I enjoy pinning the green moss over it with outdoor fabric pins. Love this moss.

Just received the 10 oz pack. It's alot of moss. Going to be good for at least 8 ft of moss pole for my potus. Really didn't expect it to be this much. The picture shows it while wetting, still is a little compact. Completely satisfied with purchase.

Looks like a good product, but it is NOT sphagnum moss at all. This is NOT suitable for a moss pole, it does not retain water anywhere near as well as sphagnum moss does. It dries out and "frills out" like a wet rope that's left to dry rather than acting like a sponge the way sphagnum moss does. As a decorative item this might be useful but I bought it to fill a moss pole and it does a terrible job of it, holding only enough water to stay moist for at most 24 hours.
