I purchased this to go with earrings and a bracelet. They were gifts for my mother. She likes jewelry that sparkles when the sun hits it. This definitely sparkles. It's not a heavy necklace and the crystal is somewhat small, but it still catches the sun. I think you could wear it anywhere. If you can't afford very expensive jewelry - this truly is nice to give or have.
