Decent quality for the price, keep feet warm
I bought these as a cheaper alternative to brand name wool socks. They lasted decently well for the price point and kept my feet toasty. At the time of use, I worked 10-12 hour days outdoors on my feet ALL day, hiking through rugged terrain. They held up for months of daily use and I was really impressed with the quality. On rainy days or when working in creek beds, my boots and feet would be soaked but stayed decently warm. After about 4-5 months of regular use all of my pairs had holes in the heels. Nonetheless, the quality and warmth they provide is great for the price point - especially if you're not quite ready to pull the trigger on brand name wool socks.

Cold Ground causing leg pain? Absolutely wonderful socks!!
The huge gap in sizes it covers, may be surprising at first when you see the sock as they look huge, and if you expect to wear them at the lower end of recommended size it will be surprising. But they did not feel like they were bunching up or uncomfortable to wear. Our foot sizes range from size 9 womens to 10 womens and men size 9.5 to mens 13. All of us fit in them just fine. My husband works on cold concrete warehouse floors that is mostly open to the elements during all seasons. In the winter the ground feels as cold as the air especially when it is 10 degrees or negative. He has been having a hard time with titanium rods in both his legs and the cold shooting up from the ground into his feet and up his legs. Many of us all know anyone with arthritis or issues the cold makes our bones feel worse. These socks have been a true blessing for him at work. He has not been complaining so much of the cold anymore or his legs feeling the cold. My 3 children and myself have also stolen a pair of these socks from the 6 pk, and we absolutely love them. They are soft, not itchy and scratchy. Warm and cozy, and great to lounge around in the house with, or go outside to shovel snow without feeling like your toes are numb. We never had a problem! <3 I would highly recommend these to anyone, better than many other 'thermal' socks I have tried over the years.

I am so pleased
These socks deserve every star! They keep me warm all day. I have raynauds and not great circulation to my feet, so cold feet have been the norm my whole life. These socks have SIGNIFICANTLY improved my day! They are nice and thick. They’re not too tight on my calves/ankles. They would probably be considered a little loose on my Womens sz 8 feet, but that means they’re good to sleep in. Give them a try!

Warm
Why did you pick this product vs others?: They hold up good. Going on year 3 with them. (Only using them in winter months). Keep the feet warm in these Minnesota winners.

I purchased these for a specific application. Read on, sweaty feet owners!
These are good socks, and work great for my purposes, but I am taking a star off for two reasons: 1. These should not be worn in cold weather as advertised, due to the significant cotton content (45%). Remember, "Cotton kills!". If you don't know what that means, you really need to look it up. A sock with a high percentage merino wool and NO cotton is best for the cold weather. 2. These are barely a crew size for height; more like a 3/4 crew. The footbed has a proper fit (I am a 7-1/2 mens and ordered the 5-10 shoe size) With that out of the way, I really like these socks for the intended purpose for which I purchased them! After coming home from work (mix of office and field work) and taking off my high percentage OTC merino wool socks (various highly rated brands-($12-$30 per pair), I wash my feet and switch into these. I've had great troubles with my feet in cold weather for nearly 30 years. I have very sweaty feet and have found that natural fibers work the best for me. I like cotton in the warmer weather and merino wool in the colder weather. I've experimented with polypropylene, Cool Max, Dry Max, etc., with no success, and still wound up with ice blocks. I will be trying silk liners this winter. Acrylic and polyester are the worst for me, so the high percentage merino wool socks I wear have nylon/spandex as the other components. I sought out a wool/cotton blend for cozy socks to use for home, casual use and experiment with work boots in warmer/transition periods. For those with sweaty feet, I would suggest trying these since they have a decent wool content (38%) to mix with the cotton, and are very comfortable with no itch. They can hold some sweat and really help warm my feet up after a cold day at work, which I am doing right now.
