Works well, quiet fan
Good overall product, fast enough for my Steam games. Needs more storage, so I got an external drive. Lack of keypad is noticeable but more than useful for most gaming needs. Windows 11 has a weird setup demanding you create the child option and would not let me bypass it, so I had to create another account for Administrator after setup.

Get the better version... Depending on price.
So, this computer is actually very good. But, for just a little more, you can get its more powerful brother that comes with the 5800u, 16gb ram, & 3050ti. That being said, this laptop is still great for creators!Don't let 8gb ram hold you off. Back in the old days, we wanted a lot of ram so our computer wouldn't use the slow paging file (part of hard drive used as ram if ram runs out). Well, with HDD's (125mb/s) the paging file was slow. Then SSD's (500mb/s) came; we still would like to use real ram over paging file on SSD's because ram was still much faster, especially for gaming. But now with these newer "stick" SSD's (3,000mb/s), a paging file is plenty fast, especially for things like video editing. So, you basically have all the "ram" you need.Get this model if it is on a huge sale. Otherwise, get the other Swift X model with the upgrades.
