Impressive product and good value for money
I bought this Homecube sound machine to help distract from tinnitus and provide a relaxing environment for sleep. I like the fact that it has a 'face' comprising a front-speaker and buttons, enclosed by a ring of light. It also has a good number and variety of sounds (29 in all). I think its primary description as a 'white noise machine' sells it short, as this device is a lot more than that.Out of the box, it seemed fairly weighty with good-quality construction. It can be charged from a USB source in relatively short time, a couple of hours or so, and lasts a reasonable amount of time on one charge, possibly several hours, although this may depend on the features used. The instructions provided are adequate and the device is fairly easy to use.I have no interest in the white noise and fan sounds, of which there are many, but some people may find them useful. The main attraction for me was the natural sounds, of which there are 15. Not all are to my taste, but for my use I like the birdsong, waves, campfire, thunderstorm, stream and ticking clock. The lullaby and music-box are nice, but more for use with children. The sounds are supposed to be non-looping - I'm not sure whether this is strictly true as there could be some random repetition of the same sounds. A notable strength of this device is the sound quality, which is surprisingly good from such a small speaker. You might expect the sound to be tinny, but it is not - for example, you can clearly hear the rumbling of the thunder. The light is another nice feature. You can have it on or off, and choose a colour. Some colours work well with the sounds - for example, the red light with the campfire sound provide a warm and cosy feel, which I can imagine as nice to have on just while sitting during the Winter. The sleep-timer is a useful feature - you can set the device to run for 30, 60 or 90 minutes. In my opinion, this is an excellent product with an attractive design that could be invaluable to tinnitus sufferers as well as those needing a comforting sound to get off to sleep. It is nicely priced for the quality and could prove a very worthwhile investment.

Wow is this good sound quality!
I have tried out several white noise machines recently and this one is the best. There are so many white noise machines around now, and sound quality can vary tremendously. I've come to realise that its not just the volume you need to look out for (as many can produce very loud volumes), but it is the speaker quality. This machine is capable of producting very loud volume, without the sound becoming distorted. It must have a really good quality built in speaker as it does differentiate from other machines I have tried. It has a great range of sounds such :7 White Noise6 Fan noisesBirds, waves, crickets, fire, train, ticking clock, thunderstorm, stream, rainfall, waterdroplets/rain, dripping tap, sssssshhhhh, in the womb.....or a tumble dryer ( I can't really be sure on this one), lullaby (x 2).You can time it for 30, 60, 90 minutes, or all night. There are several different light colour options. (The light is on the outer ring of the machine). If you don't like to be disturbed by light, you can turn this function off. There is an attachment for hanging so you could put it on a door handle, cot, etc. From experience, I have found that it is sometimes better to place the machine where the sound you want to block out is coming from. So if its from passing traffic, put it on the windowsill. If you are buying this to help with sleep, then it doesn't matter where it is placed as its speakers are so good. You can just have it on as a low background noise as the range of sound levels is great. The machine itself is really well made and attractive. In fact its a kind of interesting looking, modern and very funky piece of equipment. Definitly the best out of all I have tried.

Brilliant for adults and kids
We took this little gadget on holiday with us, because when at home we used a white-noise clock for getting us up in the morning. It worked brilliantly and my hubby was thrilled, in particular, with the sound volume setting that allowed us to make it a little louder. The only reason I gave the 'timer function' and the 'battery life' features 4/5 stars was because we didn't really use either - we left it plugged in and switched on all night, and in the morning we switched it off at the wall. It certainly kept us asleep for 8+ hours, even in an unfamiliar bed. There are other settings too, not just white noise - there are water sounds, fan sounds, and some music too.I would wholeheartedly recommend it!

Good quality sounds
The media could not be loaded. Looks like half of an egg, quite small so I like itEasy to handleSeveral buttons which makes it easier to choose instead of randomly pressing one or two buttonsThe quality of the sound is reaaaally smooth and niceOnly thing I didn’t like are the white noises. Sounds like each time it gets worse and worse (more « high pitched » I don’t how could anyone find it relaxing or maybe it’s not supposed to sound like that?I love the other sounds so I don’t mindAlso if the seller could contact me… when I choose to change the colours randomly it only does it with high brightness not low..I recommend it 👍🏼 Hopefully it will last me a few years!

Highly recommend!
Cannot rate this enough! We have two for our two kids, the first one bought five years ago and the second four years ago. The quality is amazing, they still work just as well all these years on. Lots of different volumes, colours, sounds etc, though we've kept everything the same at bedtime since day one pretty much. Battery lasts long enough to take into another room overnight if needed. Thought I should come on to say what a good investment this has been. Also they're quite robust! Have been on many long haul flights over the years and all good!

It’s ok
This is simple to use and works well. Like the timer and the light effect, but disappointed there is no real relaxing music choice.
