Big Bold Bright statement clock for my living room. For the $61 price tag you can’t go wrong. Seems to be well built. Feels sturdy not flimsy. Takes one AA battery to run the time piece. But you need to hang it on a wall near an outlet if you want to use the lights because that requires a cord. The one it comes with is 68 inches long. You might can find a longer one. The chain coming out of the bottom of the clock pulls to give you 3 optional settings: lights off, all lights on, or inner ring light on with outer ring light slowly flashing. I took pictures to show what each option looks like. My phone camera made the illuminated clock from a distance look distorted but it’s not. It’s very easy to read from across the room even with aging eyes thanks to the bold black large font and thick hands of the clock face. There is no ticking sounds from the second hand and no buzzing sounds from the lighting while on. It is a silent clock. After running the lights for five hours the bulbs did not feel hot to the touch so that alleviated my fire concern.If there was anything I would change it would be the ugly black electrical cord coming out the bottom for the lighting but you can disconnect that part and just use it as a regular clock but then what’s the point of getting it:)Overall I love the cool retro look and multi option light settings. It seems to be of great quality but time will tell for that. It was exactly what I was looking for and the price was right.

How can anyone use the bathroom at night without this light

I would have gave it 5 stars but the inner neon bulb wasn't supported. The plastic ties were all broken. I had to disassemble the clock to insert new zip ties and properly support the bulb. Also the electrical wire connections were poorly done and the heat shrink used was to big and not heat shrinked. Because everything worked, 4 stars. Still a good looking clock.

I love this clock. It's perfect for our bar area. Nice bright ring around the clock and if you don't like that you can just turn it off and use the battery for the clock. Very easy to read numbers and easy to see the second hand.

Beautiful well made clock! Exactly what I was looking for!

I bought this as a replacement. The box, aside from the clock and power supply, had nothing else. No warranty information and no user instructions. The battery placement for this is really poorly thought out. It is such a tight fit getting the battery into the correct place and does not quite get the AA battery secured. Worse if it should bounce out, it takes a lot of maneuvering to get the battery out as it rolls around inside this clock. I finally gave up in frustration and tossed it out. I will go back the old Neonetics before I use a product from this place again.
