TRG Leather Cream Shoes For Bags, Nourishment and Care, 1.7 fl.Oz

Once I discovered the proper manner in which to care for one's leather shoes, I have been using a similar shoe cream...rather than liquid, or wax polish. This type of shoe cream actually helps to preserve the natural oils inherent in the leather. Hence, the leather won't dry out. Once a year, it may be good for the leather to have mink oil applied. Then, regularly, an application of a leather conditioner is prudent. Depending on how one wears their shoes, the cream may be applied as needed to augment and preserve the appearance of the leather. I will continue to use this product because other manufacturers have stopped making certain shades that match the color of the leather of my shoes. Most of them are similar.

I've had a great medium sized silver Coach wristlet for about 5-6 years. The silver color started looking dingy and dirty. I tried cleaning it with leather cleaner. I took it to 2 shoe repair places and no one would touch it saying they couldn't do much with it because of the silver leather! I decided to purchase a leather polish and do it myself. This product is great!!! It immediately gave it new life! It brightened up the purse making it look like new. I'm including pictures. The right side is the polished side and the left is untouched. It really like it's amazing. Pictures don't do it justice. The color is translucent, making it looks ok natural and clean instead of a painted-on silver shoe polish. There's depth and tones to it making it look great.

I had bought a beautiful silver leather purse at a thrift store that looked like it had been through the wringer...I read the reviews and decided to give this shoe cream a try...sure enough, the color matched perfectly and it looks almost new, just slightly worn. I notice the cream polish wears off fairly easily on the parts which get a lot of wear and tear, so I have to touch it up now and then with the cream, but the cream looks great. It dries a little lighter than it goes on. It looks like a nice silver or platinum color. It's sort of transparent so it will blend with most shades of silver. I will buy some more when I run out!

Someone else had posted that this was a perfect match for their purple doc martens. I am here to second that. Maybe not exact, but close enough. They look great and I am very satisfied with the color. Easy enough to apply. Gave them a little buff so they have a little sheen.

Excellent color matching for a pair of boots, in "eggplant," that I had stopped wearing because they were so dull and scuffed-up. Polish is expensive (but the shipping cost more!), but I failed to find a good color match in any of the stores near my home. Goes on creamy and quite rich in color; buffs up nicely - not too shiny. If you want a glossy finish, this may not be a polish for you, but it is suitable for protection and appearance of an everyday boot or shoe. Smell is mild as well. Overall, a quality product.

MY ONLY CONCERN IS IT WASHES SO EASILY OFF YOUR HANDS, WONDERING IF IT WILL HOLD UP IN A RAINSTORM.

It was not the easiest shoe polish to put on. It left brush marks. I had to go over it three times. The color is accurate though.

This is a good product. It works well on shoes and seems to protect them. A very little application goes a long way. So it doesn’t matter if the container seems small.
