Expands the use of the Weber.
The fit and materials are respectable. The ring seated on the bottom fine, and the lid fits okay, too. The rotisserie seems well made, with a wooden handle that screws on. It has two, four prong offset forks that screw down easily and hold the roast well. I need some more practice on the counterweight, but it seemed to help with balance. It performed well for a 4+ hour pork roast. I have a Weber brand rotisserie for my gas grill, and the quality of this unit was comparable. The motor was steady and quiet. Cord length is generous. This increases the Weber's function. You can rotisserie at high heat as well as smoke at a lower heat. The ring itself, when installed, allows for a standard Weber cover to still fit (after removing the rotisserie motor and skewer. I shopped this for a while and settled on this company's product - and in the stainless version. I'm sure the standard metal would have been fine. Very happy to have purchased this. It is handy to be able to rotisserie. We also kept the ring on when we were doing a slow turkey. It was nice to have the extra space. Some smoke escaped, but the larger chamber may have encouraged more smoke accumulation over all. This is a less pricey option that the Weber brand, but it is seemingly just as well constructed.

Glad I waited, sorry I waited. But you: don't wait.
I waited because back when I looked for a grill rotisserie attachment the only one available was Weber's and I thought it too pricey-- plus a number of reviewers weren't happy with the seal at the grill and lid. This gizmo is considerably cheaper, and boy, do I like this. It's well designed, and it works well. The first two uses I wound up with perfectly cooked whole chicken that was super moist. Now a caveat about that: if you're grilling chicken, over charcoal, whether whole or pieces, if you don't ***brine*** it first, you're asking for trouble. I brined the first (3.5 pound) chicken for two hours--and it was incredible. The second, I only had time for a one hour brine and it came out well-- but not as good (moist) as the first time. Could this gizmo be improved? Sure. And I expect they'll work on minor refinements going forward. But it's excellent. It's sturdy. It seals to the Weber grill really well. The motor is quiet--not that it matters so much right? The central spit is robust. The hardware that holds the food on the spit is well designed. The handle stays cool to the touch. Is it durable? Will the motor hold up? Who knows. My feeling is that this should be pretty long lasting. Hard to know after a couple of weeks. But out of the box this is really impressive and at a very, very, reasonable price. And remember: always brine your chicken before grilling. Follow up: I've had this nine months. I've probably used it an average of three times a month. Takeaways: ---The chickens keep on coming out...perfect. Like "Wow, dear, this is really good!" perfect. ---It wasn't up to handling out Thanksgiving turkey: 24 pounds. Maybe if I fooled with it more, and got the balance jussst right, maybe. But it didn't seem worth it. However: the rotisserie ring? Made grilling the turkey easier than ever. Really nice! ---Motor is still fine, nothing is broken or rusted or malfunctioning in any way. A great addition to an already great grill. Hat's off, and very impressed!

Good product at an amazing price.
With some trepidation after reading some negative reviews, I went ahead and ordered the Onlyfire black metal. It came very well packed, no deformities, and in short order. Some reviews mentioned warpage, poor fitting of either the ring to the kettle or the kettle cover to the ring. I experienced none of this. In fact, everything fit perfectly. Haven't used the motor yet, but test run seemed fine. All in all, a very good product at an amazing price.

Works OK For Light Rotisserie Kit
I had been using a Weber rotisserie kit for the Weber Kettle for 15 years. Worked great and I did many cooks of chickens, turkeys and large prime rib roasts. Then I lost custody of my Weber grill and equipment in a domestic dispute (don't ask). So I got a nice Weber Performer kettle off Craig's List and refurbished it. Looks like new. Next job was to get another rotisserie kit. The Weber kit, like all Weber products, have gone up a lot with the crazy tariffs on metals (that consumers pay not China!) and the crazy high shipping costs from China. So I thought I would try this Weber knockoff at less than half the price of the Weber. Well it works OK for the price. Here are the things I have noticed. Everything is lighter and more delicate, the spit, motor and ring. The spit appears to be chrome coated metal rather than solid steel as the Weber is. Need to see how it holds up with the post-cook scrubbing it will get. Motor is very light and doesn't seem particularly powerful. It will turn two chickens OK. Haven't done a heavier meat yet. I wonder if the gears are metal or plastic/nylon? I am going to keep it and see how it holds up over time. I will report back in after some more test drives. Oh, one more thing, the kettle lid doesn't fit very tight over the ring. Not a problem for me as I shut down all of the top and bottom vents when running the rotisserie. The air leaking in below and above the ring is enough to maintain a good temperature for rotisserie roasting. I regulate my heat with the amount of charcoal I start the cook with. For a long cook, I might open the vents a little bit to bring up the temp as the charcoal burns down.

I’m extremely happy with the Only Fire Stainless Steel Rotisserie Ring Kit for my Weber 22" kettle. The fit is perfect, the stainless steel is solid and durable, and the whole setup feels very stable once assembled. The motor runs smoothly and quietly, and the rotation is consistent — ideal for roasting whole chickens, roasts, or even larger cuts. Heat circulation is excellent, and the results are juicy with perfectly crispy skin. Assembly was straightforward, and the ring seals very well with the kettle so you don’t lose heat. Cleanup is also easy thanks to the stainless-steel construction.

I use this on my Kamado Kettle Joe. It fits perfectly. I purchased this to spin my thanksgiving turkey and it worked awesome. Best turkey I have done. I added the felt tape to the rim so it would get a good seal, not sure that is necessary as there are holes where the pole goes through. Motor spins well and everything feels like good quality.

Very happy with this purchase. Finally took it for a test drive and was very impressed with the fit and the smoothness of the rotisserie motor. A little tricky to get the heat right. The extra 2 holes for the spit to go through add a lot more air flow in the weber kettle. I played with it and found the lower vent open all the way and the top about halfway kept a consistent 350 heat. Just used some banked royal oak briquettes. It took about 2 hours to cook a 4 pound chicken. I think next time I would use the grill baskets to have heat on either side and it might cook faster. But omg the chicken was the best I've ever tasted! And I've made a lot of chickens on the bbq. I have a rotisserie for my gas grill and it doesn't even compare. The meat was juicy and succulent. My wife and 2 toddler twin boys couldn't even get enough of it! Pros -Ring construction is very good. Nice welds. -The ring fits very snug I didn't see any leaks except through the holes for the spit. -Rotisserie motor has a long power cord which is nice. Probably 8 feet. -Rotisserie motor seems to be good quality and worked flawlessly for me. -Half the price of the major brand ring. Cons -Ring is pretty thin and might bend if dropped. -The screws that adjust the counterweight and hold the spit to the ring slot are hard to tighten. I switched them out for some 10 mm hex head bolts and problem solved. -Tricky to adjust heat but not an Achilles heel by any means. You probably could tighten the adjustment screws with pliers and I would reccomend it. Otherwise a very nice addition to your weber kettle. Now I'm looking forward to trying a turkey on this thing and lots of other meats.
