This product is perfect for my skin. It showed results of less lines after 1 week of use. I will definitely continue to use it in the future.

Unlike other Retinol products, this was gentle enough for my sensitive skin.

Update: When I applied this over my damp face, it was easier to distribute the serum, and I could then more feel it as it smoothed over my face. I’m going to keep using it this way and see what I think in a couple of weeks of use. As far as what this serum will do over the long term remains to be seen, and I do like the ingredients list to this Replenix. But this is a very thick serum and when I apply it, it doesn’t seem to spread out on my face as easily or smoothly as I’d like. With many of my other serums, there’s that emollient quality where even with a small amount, I can feel it smooth over my entire face. With this serum being so thick, it feels more dry going on and it’s difficult for me to tell if enough of the product is being applied to my entire face. When I apply some to the back of my hand, I can more tell how it feels and sits on my skin and the softness of my skin on the back of my hand. But that’s over a smaller area. So with my face, I am trying to apply it in sections instead of smoothing it out and over as I do my other serums. What I look for in a serum is that “luxe” feel, where when I’m applying it, I’m thinking “This feels really nice and emollient going on -!” But with this one it’s a subtle feeling. At over $70 for this serum (at time of this review), I’d want to really love it before I’d pay that amount. I have serums at half that price that do a great job. (Update - I see now it’s $52 - still a little pricey but not was bad as $70.) The ingredients, however, are compelling: “Replenix pharmaceutical-grade formulas combine natural green tea polyphenols with other proven anti-aging ingredients like hyaluronic acid, peptides, caffeine and retinol to rejuvenate your complexion.” It’s sort of a three/four in one hit of serum with the retinol, hyalauronic acid, etc. A positive to this serum is that it is non-irritating to my sensitive skin but then again so are the other serums I have in my beauty arsenal. I think here is is mostly a textural thing for me—I want it to be a little less thick and a little easier to spread onto my face. If I see marked results to my skin, then of course I’ll be impressed and come back and relay that. But, I need to love the product enough to want to spend that kind of money on a tight budget and I just don’t love the consistency enough to do that—not in comparison to my Vichy products, which aren’t as pricey and feel amazing going on my skin. A good product with good ingredients but not enough to make me switch from Vichy.

As a “woman of a certain age” I’ve tried many skin care products and have developed a bar that they have to jump if I’m going to spend my hard earned cash on them. Hyaluronic Acid has to be there – this seems to be the one ingredient that works to diminish fine lines and plumps you up a bit. This Replenix treatment has what I’m looking for. It also uses green tea as part of its formulary which I assume is the caffeine that promotes the soothing effect. All in all I find this an effective treatment to use at home if you want to gain a smoother looking skin surface. I also like the container design. You give the top a twist and the pump rises from the top. One push delivers a minute amount on your fingertip so you won’t be wasting this expensive emulsion. I suspect this 1 oz. container will last a long time. This product does not immediately suck into the skin – it has a texture a little like “light” Vaseline and you can feel it on the surface after applied. This is not unpleasant – but it’s best to use at night before bed when it can do its work. There is a lot I like about this product and will probably purchase it when this container runs out.

I like how this feels on my skin, very soft, silky, powdery almost. Definitely no greasy feeling or thick cream. Not sure about the longer term effects from using the serum yet. One star deduction at this point: doesn't feel as it absorbs into my skin. Although it doesn't feel like there's a residue on my skin, it also just doesn't feel as though it is really helping/absorbing into my skin? Does that make sense. Scent is not really noticeable.
