Hello Brian Trezise, Thank you for your question!If you have a 1500 series with an escutcheon plate that has screw hole positions of 1 O'clock and 7 O'clock position you can use the T17238-SS trim. However, you will not be able to use the new multi choice valve cartridge that is included with the new trim. You will have to use the RP32104 1700 series cartridge. This is NOT 2.5 gpm as stated in another answer, look at the model number given. It is actually max 1.75 gpm @ 80 psI, 6.8 L/min-Min 1.5 gpm @ 45 psi, 5.7 L/min.
