Took a bit of time to get the results through, but having spoken to the team, we had a really good outcome.. they were super attentive, want to give great customer service... and do. The results themselves are incredibly comprehensive... loads of info.. Seems worth it!!

The kit contains instructions and a receptacle for your spit and some liquid to mix with it. After registering online, you can repackage the bottle and send it off for analysis. The member of my family volunteered for the treatment had a little trouble dribbling into the bottle, but it's all quite straightforward if you follow the instructions. It took a few weeks to receive confirmation of receipt of the sample, and a couple of weeks more for the results to come online. Nothing is sent through the post, so you need to be online to use this pack. The results are in three main categories: Traits, Wellness and Ancestry. Traits include such items as Alcohol Addiction, Birthweight, Earlobe Type, Longevity and Tooth Morphology, to pick a few at random. Each heading can be expanded to provide a lot of background information (not personalised), advice on prevention and a technical report for you own sample. A pdf can be downloaded. The website works faultlessly. Wellness is subdivided into Nutrition and Sports Performance, with a similar large number of headings that can be researched with background information and technical reports. Ancestry shows your geographical lineage expressed percentages from the regions of the world. You can drill down to pinpoint the location and racial origins, and there is a zoomable interactive map to illustrate the results. There is also a tab for Maternal Lineage based on Mitochondrial DNA. This indicates your Haplogroup, with a generic explanation of migration going back to our common origins in Africa. There is a lot of information here, some of it quite technical. I imagine people will buy this service for a variety of reasons. This is the basic starter kit, but it seems to be good value for the information provided. We certainly found it to be enlightening.

The customer service for Tellmegen is 5* and I would highly recommend them. I bought these for my family as a Christmas present and everyone was very appreciative. Many presents only get used once then thrown out, this is something that can be used for a lifetime & give an insight into health.

This comes in a small box which includes a vial, lid for the vial, instructions and a return envelope. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I have posted my spit sample off and will update how the results come. UPDATE: I am still waiting for my results so am taking off a star. 12/10/21

This DNA test starter is very easy to use with sent instruction. I haven't done it yet but looks like very good quality product. Will show you everything you want to know about yourself. This DNA test is regularly updated and is free of charge. With this information you can modify your life habits to improve your well-being. Very reasonable price only 75.00 at the moment. Very useful when it comes to results. Recommend.

They do not give you a return address you have to take it to a place they tell you. So I would pick a better one.
