Super Lustrous Lipstick, High Impact Lipcolor with Moisturizing Creamy Formula, Infused with Vitamin E and Avocado Oil in Plum / Berry, Desert Escape (760)

I love this lipstick and it's formula and already have two other shades in it but I was super disappointed with the colour. I bought it after checking several reviews and swatches and it was supposedly very close to Rum Raisin but just a bit warmer/more brown. But this is a bit too brown, which causes the pink to almost disappear. At least that seems to be the case for tan skin. Since it was more expensive than the other shades, I really did not expect it to disappoint.

Review for Desert Escape color. I have very fair, cool-toned (middle-age) skin, and light hair. I was looking for a medium neutral, “my lips but better” color. Desert Escape is a lovely, sophisticated color. It’s a bit much on my very fair skin without any other makeup, but it’s perfect with a polished makeup look. It isn’t too much one color or the other. It is definitely more berry/plum than brown-toned, for certain. It’s both super creamy and intensely pigmented. Zero noticeable smell. I would label it a medium berry-plum. I’m still on the hunt for a perfect MLBB that I can wear extremely casually, like for no makeup around the house etc. (I’m going to try “Blushing Mauve” which is a pearlized color.) But “Desert Escape” color is a keeper- for a more formal look.
