Great trimmer
It’s a great product much lighter than my stylist I had before . It shows gold color in picture but came in red but no big deal!

Compact Size and Never Runs Out of Battery Since it Doesn't Have One
Needed to replace my 15 year-old cordless that would no longer run without being plugged in, so I opted to get one that is a plug-in so the battery issue is taken care of. Works great and has a lot of grooming attachments. Fits great in my hand and easily maneuvers around the curves of my face. Doesn't get hot at all, but has plenty of power to trim even thick beards. I use it mostly for putting on the finishing touches.

Great Value In-Home Trimmers for Beginners
This is a very solid and reliable home barber trimmer. While it is not the sharpest blade, it has excelled at trimming short hair at home. I highly recommend it for those just learning to cut hair. My son uses them every 2 to 3 weeks to cut his own hair. He likes a bald fade. Every 3 weeks to a month he uses them on me to clean up my neck. I have purchased this product twice: April 2017, and May 2021. The latest pair of clippers broke down for us January 2026. These pictures are from the latest pair (2021). The electronic power supply came apart and we regularly used Barbicide to clean the blades. I believe that the battery died in the 2017 pair. One negative about this product is that it can sometimes snag on longer, curly hair. However, this is more likely to as result of user error rather than a design flaw. Another negative is that it is not the sharpest blade. Therefore, it may not be the most suitable product for attaining a super crisp line up. All in all, My son and I are very pleased with this product. The average lifespan has been around 4 years for us, given that we use it roughly 2 to 5 times per month.

Good quality but I would have preferred a bit heavier & more maneuverable.
Good quality but I would have preferred a bit heavier & more maneuverable. It cuts fine but until you are coordinated with just using a corner of these type clippers you will have trouble trimming around your ears with this. For that Wahl sells a even smaller trimmer with a nose hair trimmer that I guess I will need to buy. This trimmer is great for the nape of the neck though. It came with oil but no brush from dusting off clipped hair and no toiletry bag to hold this gear, but I guess to keep the price as low as it was, they had to sacrifice the inclusion of those items. So, all things taken into consideration it was worth buying and keeping for the price I paid.

very low quality
I've only used this thing two or three times so it's brand new. It tends to tug on some hairs as it cuts them, so it is not smooth and not comfortable. The plastic guards that you can put on the blade are also flawed. The teeth on them are so far apart that they fail to stand up your beard hairs like you would want. This leads to a lot of random hairs being missed and having a weird uneven cut full of long straggler whiskers. This is the worst trimmer I have owned out of three or four. The plastic guards also require an insane amount of force to remove. This is something that should easily pop off but I'm a grown man absolutely struggling with it. Ridiculous.

Might be good for fine hair, not coarse hair.
I am a fan of wahl trimmers and clippers. purchased this trimmer as a backup. I am a professional hairdresser and like the size for travel, hoped it would perform as other wahl trimmers I am used to working with. Read the specs and felt like it would do. When I unboxed the trimmer I found the electrical cord provided was very short for using behind the chair. Working with it thru out the day it did not give me the sharp line work I am accustomed to creating with other cordless t-trimmers I own. Relatively quiet, blades were not as sharp as I am used to. Pulled hair on some of my coarse bearded clients. Is say it’s best use is for individuals with fine hair. Ergonomically well designed.

Corded Wahl Trimmer Works Well.
Works well. Corded. No need to worry about an adapter. Speed is great. No need to bother changing batteries. Lasts because you plug it in.

I’ve bought 3 of these because they break, here’s why I keep buying them
I’m one of those guys who can’t shave using a razor or shaver because of extremely sensitive skin. If you have the same problem, look no further and buy this trimmer. This isn’t a high end model. It’s about half the size of a typical shaver. It’s travel size at best. It’s made of plastic. It’s also about half the price of the larger models. If you’re not a professional and just looking for a simple trimmer that cuts close and can be used on your face, this is for you. That being said, these are not very durable, which seems like a common theme for many shavers/trimmers in this price range. I’m on my third one, so here are some tips and tricks to make it last as long as possible: 1. Never get the blades wet. If the blades become wet, let them dry out completely before using. 2. If you oil the blades (included), give it several days to dry. Trying to shave with oil on the blades is a disaster. 3. As you’re shaving and banging the blades on your sink to get the hair out, do this gently. After enough whacks, the unit will eventually fail. 4. Once you start to notice snagging, difficulty cutting, or you’re getting knicks while trying to cut, throw it away and buy another one. The previous two I’ve had lasted for about 15-16 months each.
