Up front, I am a novice with styling tools. I blast my hair dry with a dryer and no brush as I have reduced mobility in my hands/arms, and struggle to use both together. I have used straighteners in the past, but only when the occasion demands it, and I usually need assistance to use them well/evenly all round my head. But I have really enjoyed using this product. I towel dry/roughly hairdryer my hair to almost dry, then use this as a finishing tool. It gives me a professionally blow dried appearance with so little effort, leaving hair smooth and glossy, and because it is a thick-handle appliance, I can manage it with my hands comfortably. The head detaches with a simple lock mechanism, but is so secure I didn't appreciate this feature existed until my daughter showed me it. My only slight frustration is it is of a size where I have to choose between packing this or another dress in my holiday case. Not really, this will take the space every time now! Excellent value for money!

I’m just doing a review now as I forgot to do one when I first purchased this brush! My friend borrowed it the other day and looked like she had just stepped out of the salon. I bought it 2023 as it was recommended for thick hair. I was going through a well know make of hot brush every 6 months as they were burning out as the element had gone on every one. I’ve had this for 18 months and it is amazing! My hair is like wire like when it’s drying naturally and this brush is just absolutely amazing! I blast it with the dryer then spray it with heat protection spray and my drying time has gone from 45 minutes to 10. The pictures are on different days but show the results of this amazing drying at taming the wiry curls! Just the best!

Bought this after a friend recommended and it’s fantastic. Took me a few goes to get the hang of it and I think it’s better to rough dry your hair first and then smooth over with this rather than go from totally wet but you can, it’s just a bit longer imo. I have long fine tangles easily hair so I really like the smooth finish this gives to my hair and I can inject a bit of body into the roots too if I lift and dry up with the brush. It can softly curl the ends too which is also a bonus, easy to use if a bit noisy on the highest heat setting. So far I love it

I got this so that I didn't have to use a regular dryer and straightner. I like that it's lightweight so I don't have to keep putting it down to rest my arm, and really powerful so it dries my fine, long hair very quickly, and it leaves it smooth and straight so there's no need to use straightners. Note that the barrel is HUGE, and that it doesn't turn - both those things work for me, but I know some people prefer a smaller barrel and want it to turn (I don't, I always end up in a mess with a turning barrel). The only thing I'd change about it is that the switch is around the bottom of the handle so I have to use two hands to turn it on and off - I'd prefer the switch to be a regular type that you can do with one hand. But I like it, am happy with it, and would recommend it.

I have the Hot Tools 24K 110V model and love it a lot. Hair is always perfect and smoother than the Revlon One-Step. The heat seems less intense than the Revlon, but I have fine hair so that suits my needs. I bought this one for UK/EU travel and actually don't know if it works yet, but will find out on my trip abroad in the fall; crossing fingers. Shipping was faster than predicted. Price was fine, and really like the detachable head for packing/storing convenience, the head/brush size, as well as the detachable adapter piece for EU plug. Recommend it. A+

I leave my hair to air for an hour then use the hot tool . My hair comes out lovely .,smooth & it lasts for a few days . Easy to use . Not heavy to use . It does not get caught in my hair .

I have naturally wavy hair and a lot of it! It normally takes me around 50 minutes to dry my hair with a hairdryer and round brush, my hair is shoulder length. It then takes me around another 20 minutes to smooth over with my straightener. I decided to give this a try as in my opinion, it is cheap when compared to my hairdryer (£90) and even the round brush that I use (£15). I used this for the first time today and I am seriously impressed with the ease of use (check out some how to videos online), the weight and the speed of styling is so good! I dried and styled all of my hair in 30 minutes!!! I did go over my roots with my hair straightener which took around 10 minutes but only to smooth out some frizz which I also get with my hairdryer and round brush. In total I have managed to cut back my hairstyling time by at least 30 minutes which is incredible for me :) I’m really happy with my purchase and found the grip on the brush to be amazing! I could reach the back of my head too! I was also surprised that I only used the first heat setting, I normally use the highest on my hairdryer. Two hours later and I’m still pleasantly surprised! If you have thick wavy/curly hair I would suggest styling in smaller sections for a better result, especially around the crown which is where I tend to get some frizz. Seriously for the price, I personally don’t think I could have found something this good that actually works for me!

It dries perfectly and leaves your hair as if it had been ironed, but over time the black paint falls off, which is a shame because all of that stays in your hair every time you dry it.

I broke my first hot tool as i dropped it (several times), so this is a re- buy. Absolutely convinced of this product. They are awesome!

Il sèche très rapidement et est léger à tenir sans l'accessoire. Le volumisateur est facile à utiliser et fait du bon travail, mais je ne pense pas qu'il convienne aux cheveux courts. Dans l'ensemble, je suis satisfaite de ce produit et je le recommanderais à celles qui ont des cheveux plus longs.
