I’m both a side and back sleeper and have struggled to find a pillow that actually keeps my neck supported without going flat or feeling too stiff. I wanted something supportive, breathable, and high quality — and this pillow absolutely delivered. I have been on the search for a very comfortable, yet supportive pillow for the past at least twenty-five years! First I purchased two Northern Nights machine washable down pillows which were good for many years, but I didn't like being poked with feathers every once in a while! =/ Then I purchased two different Beautyrest pillows, one being a memoryfoam which was definitely soft, but did not provide any support whatsoever! The other was very comfortable for at least a year, but went flat. Maybe two years ago I also purchased a Mainstay brand quilted pillow from Walmart. Even though it was quite comfortable for at least a year or so, eventually that one went rather flat and I had been tossing and turning for the past at least six months! After recently purchasing Organic Textiles 3" Soft Latex Mattress Topper and finding it extremely comfortable and supportive, I decided to save up and purchase their Talalay Latex Pillow that comes with a 100% organic cotton hidden zippered cover when it was 15% off a couple of weeks ago! Even though it was the most expensive pillow that I have ever purchased, it was totally worth the price that I paid!! When it arrived, it did have a latex smell to it, but after laying it out on my dining room table in front of my window for almost six days, there was no detectable smell at all! I slept on it that night (which was last night at the time that I am writing this review), and I can honestly say that I had the best night's sleep on my Organic Textiles Talalay Latex Pillow that I have had in a VERY loooong time!! I like to sleep on my side and this Talalay Latex Pillow surrounded my head with cushiony comfort! It works quite well if you sleep on your back, too! I used to always sleep on my stomach, but no longer do, so I can't speak to how comfortable this pillow is for all of you stomach sleepers out there. Five stars from me for comfort and support, but for those of you who may need a lot of support, you may want to consider the Medium or Firm if you are thinking about ordering this Talalay Latex Pillow With Organic Cotton Cover with hidden zipper from Organic Textiles. If you are like me, you are probably on here trying to find answers to your questions to help make a decision about this pillow! I’ll try to help, remembering what I was looking in the reviews from other purchasers. When I decided that this was the brand I was going to go for among other organic latex pillows, my dilemma was about the size and the smell. I’m very sensitive to scents in general, so I was skeptical, but this pillow is just fine in that respect! I can’t tell you that there isn’t a smell at all, it’s becoming more and more faint and it doesn’t bother me at all since it’s super minimal. I’m sure it will go away with time or I’ll go nose-blind to it. Being a sensitive to all smells this worked out great for me! I did air it out for about 5 days, I took its cotton cover off and put it in the guest bedroom and waited 5 days to use it. Now about the size. I went with the FIRM. I’m glad that I did. I am a side sleeper and need support. The amazing thing about this pillow is that it doesn’t squash, it has this sort of bounce back up feeling. It provides amazing support for the neck. At first it was uncomfortable a bit, and after the first night my neck was a bit sore, but now I can’t go back to lower pillows. If you have broader shoulders or a bigger person you must do firm. Because I was curious about how medium is like, later I ordered it too. Shipping takes a while. So I expedited my first pillow and it came within a week, but I didn’t do that with my second pillow and it took about 2 weeks. The MEDIUM pillow is too soft for me. I’m 5,3 female. I think you’d have to be pretty small person to be good with Medium, unless you don’t want too much support and like your pillow flatter, then you want to get the medium and not the firm. If you like your pillow flatter the firm may feel weird. I like how my head is now supported at a 90 degree angle. I am sending the medium back because it’s a bit too thin like I mentioned already. I definitely recommend trying this pillow out! Quality is great and I feel like it’s really helping with the neck tension. Good luck 😁

Have ordered a "natural" talalay latex pillow from Organic Textiles before & been pleased with the firmness of the medium as well as how long it has last. Price seems higher, however, with this recent purchase. Although I bought the other pillow some time ago I'm sure I didn't pay over $90 for it at the time! This time, the pillow seems to be taking awhile to lose that "rubbery" odor because of it being latex, even if it is natural. I don't think it is "organic" however. I'm not sure there are organic latex pillows our there vs. natural latex pillows.

You'll love this pillow if you prefer a softer pillow as I do. Because it is latex foam it provides just enough support without collapsing. My last latex pillow last 7 years. I won't buy any other kind. It's worth the money.

Having slept on the medium firmness pillow for a number of months, I have to say that it is not the most comfortable latex pillow I have used. I sleep with an arm under the pillow with my head over top. I find that the pillow between head and armcrushes down until it is fully compacted and hard. Other pullows I have used have a more uniform consistency to them and feel supportive and spongy comfortable when compacted under my head. Would not buy again and if these pillows were not so expensive, I would replace them now.

This pillow is perfect! I had been looking to replace my old latex pillow for at least 2 years, with no luck. Most latex pillows are too thick and very costly. This product comes in different thicknesses, densities and sizes so there is a pillow for everyone. The pillow arrived very quickly, is a very good price and I really like the company’s attention to environmental sustainability.
