I have braids. This shower cap was perfect size and kept my braids dry.

I needed a bigger shower cap for my locs. Not that they're super long, but I wear them in a bun on the top of my head most of the time and i don't want to have to take them out just to make a shower cap fit. When I tell you this thing is huge... I almost have to put IT in a bun so it's not all over the place. I love that its big and it will serve me well when my hair grows to accommodate it, but right now... it's A LOT... lol. If you have a lot of hair, this is the cap for you. I wish I had found this when i was wearing it natural, because it would have worked great. I wouldn't have had to gather my hair up before putting on the regular size shower caps they think fit everyone. I've had it for a few months and it holds up well, and I think it would do well in the washer if you're the type that likes to hold on to these type of caps for a while. I got the purple and it's a nice vibrant color like the picture. Overall, I love it... but remember... it's HUUUUUGE... lol

This cap is huge. I have fairly long locs so I needed a cap larger than the normal shower cap. But this cap is HUGE! The elastic could be a little tighter as it has a tendency to slide down my face. It is waterproof and keeps my hair dry. I just wish I could have found a cap somewhere in between.

I haven’t had it long. It is still elastic but it has a few small holes from when I used it to carry some hair products to the bathroom (it actually held up very well being used for that task a single time—it was a lot of stuff). I didn’t realize the corners of the product bottle were poking the hair cap but I removed it as soon as I noticed. The holes are pretty small and water has not gotten on my hair while wearing it at this point. It is so big❤️ Seriously, if you have thick, natural, afro or long hair that you put into a bun to shower, this cap has the space for you! I will say that when my hair is not completely combed out the excess space of the cap worries me because I don’t know if water will get it. I just push the air out to make it flatter. Usually I wear over the head headphones under my cap now which is actually extremely nice, but may make your ears sweat. Odd feeling while in the shower. I use the cap to deep condition my hair, as well. It works ok for that, a smaller cap would probably be better but it works for me. I won’t have the space to have a bunch of different hair caps when I move to a ship for deployment. One reliable cap is good for me, and this cap is my go-to for now. It is comfortable because of the size and the elastic doesn’t scratch you. If you have VERY long hair or very thick puffy hair that is also long, this cap may not be enough for you. It won’t accommodate your amount of hair. As I said though, my Beats headphones fit on my head under the cap and it is still comfortable and roomy. It doesn’t get too hot under it, either. I gave the durability 3 stars since it did get easily punctured by a plastic hair product bottle (a Miss Jessie’s curl care product) but honestly I haven’t really ever had a shower cap be tough and not hot, so I guess that’s the trade off. It feels nice, looks cute (I have pink) and I want to order another, just to have. I recommend it.
