Finally replaced our old bin
We had been using the same indoor recycling bin for YEARS and it showed. Every time I went into Home Depot I made a note to pick up a new bin. I never did. I just didn't want to spring for what seemed like a ridiculously high price. When I saw this bin on Amazon, the price was right and I ordered it. I'm glad I did. It's exactly the size of our old bin, which is what we wanted. It's also quite sturdy. I don't expect a recycling bin to be beautiful, but this one is quite nice and just made me realize just how bad our old bin was. I expect that this one will last for quite some time. Definitely worth the price and I think we'll have it for quite some time.

NOT PRETTY BUT USEFUL
The Amazon Basics Trash Can is simple, sturdy, and exactly what we needed. It has a clean, no-frills design that fits nicely in our space without looking bulky. The lid opens and closes smoothly, and it holds a good amount of trash without needing constant emptying. It feels solid and well made, especially for the price. For an affordable trash can that just works and does its job well, this one is hard to beat.

Very nice bathroom size garbage cans!
Came early and it is amazing quality!

Perfect Size But Sharp Edges
Functional, durable and perfect size BUT there are very sharp edges under the top rim of the can that you can cut your fingers on. They either need to sand it down or seal that part of somehow.

Bin there, loved it
This trash can might not be glamorous, but it gets the job done perfectly. The design is simple and clean, the lid opens smoothly, and it holds more than you’d expect without taking up much space. It is sturdy, easy to wipe down, and somehow makes throwing things away feel oddly satisfying. I have used plenty of trash cans before, but this one feels like it will last a long time without any weird squeaks or jams. A basic done brilliantly — definitely worth the bin-vestment.
