Smash Up: Cease & Desist Card Game Expansion | Astroknights, Changerbots, Ignobles, Star Roamers | 2-4 Players | Ages 14+ | 30-45 Minute Playtime

If you've played Smash Up, you know there are plenty of parodies in it (for example, the Grey Opal as a parody to the Black Pearl). Cease and Desist, however, has four FACTIONS that are parodies. See if you can tell what they're parodying from the descriptions I give: For over a thousand generations, the Astroknights were the guardians of peace and justice. Before the dark times. Before the Great Purge. Now they seek allies to defeat the evil king. At first glance, these minions don't look like much. But, as you'll soon find out, there's more to them than meets the eye. They are Changeable Robotic Organisms from the planet Bandai (but you can call them Changerbots for short). Now they're on a mission to find allies to help them confront their greatest enemy yet: Michael Bay. The king is dead...and he was a spoiled brat, so nobody cares. What they do care about is the spiked throne left vacant by the king's (cough) untimely demise. A family of Ignobles seeks allies to gain ultimate power. But be warned: they have warned you not to trust them. Space. The Last Wilderness. These are the voyages of the starship Undertaking. Her ongoing mission: to explore strange new bases, to seek out new life and new faction, and to boldly go where no minion has ever gone. I highly recommend this expansion.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the factions in this one. But that's just my play style. If u like the game then u have to have all the expansions and this one is worth the money.

Another great add-on to Smash Up! Especially fun if you're a big fan of any of the shows/books these parody! Adds in some new dynamics, like giving control of your cards to others to give yourself a benefit, or to force them to win a base that offers more points to the person who comes in second on it!

This expansion is so much fun! And who could say no to the bootleg Star Wars, Star Trek, Transformers, and Game of Thrones??

Some of the factions have interesting twists, while others bring great flexibility. All in all a worthy addition to the roster

My husband and I love Smash-Up. We have several expansion packs now, and this one did not disappoint. If you've never played Smash-Up before, it can seem a little overwhelming. However, once you get the jist, it couldn't be simpler because the rules are literally on the cards being played! Highly recommended. My personal favorite deck from this pack is the "Star Trek" one. :)

My favorite of the expansions so far. I enjoy 3 of the 4 factions greatly. Changebots being my last favorite butt there are not horrible. Ignobles are tricky but so fun to play. Great expansion overall.

Anyone who loves Smash Up would like this. It maintains the high quality of the original and the other expansions.
