Great for your fur baby
This was the purrrrfect solution to bath our cat. I had clipped his nails prior to putting him in the bag (when he sleeps... he REALLY sleeps) so I think that helped make a difference in him not tearing up the bag. It does take a little more soaking to get them nice and wet but he came out very clean and smelled a heck of a lot better than he did going in to this.

Perfect for my GIANT cat!
My cat is massive, 19lbs and extremely strong, he absolutely hates baths but for the first time we were able to give him a bath and he was calmer and barely fought us. It fit him perfectly too! He wasn’t too cramped but was snug and secure! Highly recommend

Plan out everything before hand!!
I purchased this awhile ago for my 2 cats/5lb maltese n finally used it. NOTE: this review is based ONLY on the results of my 1yo male cat of 10lbs. I have not used it on the other 2 yet as they tolerate a bath better. It was easy to use n a really great concept but my cat was able to break out of it in less than 2 mins. However, im still giving it a good review bc it was just enough time to get him washed..i wasnt able to do ANYTHING to him near the water before i had this bag. I had been wiping him down with cat wipes etc which just wasn't as good as a real bath! My cats are inside cats but we have a balcony (pet proofed) that they like to go out on so they do get dirty. I actually already had a feeling he was going to get himself out of it bc of his hatred for baths which i do not understand bc he loves to drink from the faucet n sit on the edge of the tub while someone is taking a bath! Also from reading reviews i saw that others had the same issue so, i made a plan. This is what worked for me personally but im going to suggest others try it if u have even the slightest inkling that your pet will break out or that really hates baths, is terrified of water or all/some of the above 1. Get everything ready n set up..most likely u will be doing the actual washing with only one hand n holding the pet/bag with the other for extra security. (no wash cloth needed..the inside of the bag acts as such..trust me u will see the dirt n gunk when the pet gets out!!) 2. Get the water running at the temp u want n KEEP it running. DO NOT place the pet in the tub/sink first n then turn on n try to adjust the water 3. Have someone help u get the pet in the bag. (I had to do this outside of the bathroom away from the tub n running water so it didnt freak him out before i even started.) 4. Use the handles to carry n place the pet in the tub or sink n get down to business immediately. 5.Pump/squeeze the soap directly onto the bag it will pentrate it..scrub quickly but gently with your hand/hands..(gloves optional) doing the dirtiest areas first. TIP: THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT for a scared/difficult/resistant pet.. use a DRY foam shampoo..yes even though u are wetting them use a dry shampoo bc if they break out of the bag before u are able to rinse them ( like mine did)its no biggie. The dry soap will absorb n they wont end up with a greasy soap residue in the end. My personal fave is Furminator de shedding no rinse foam shampoo..u can get it on here. I truly believe that was the trick that made everything work!! If i hadn't used dry shampoo i would've had to chase n catch a wet soapy cat, get him back in the bag n try to rinse him before he broke free again. 6. If your pet is sane n hasnt broken out by now give them a rinse take them out of bag n towel dry..if they have broken free in a psychotic rage they are probably hiding soaking wet somewhere so try to find them n dry them. 7. give a good brushing to get out extra fur n debris. 8. For fugitive pets..after they come out of hiding n stop giving u the burning stare of death, give lots of cuddles n treats!! (This also applies to cooperative pets) haha. I will mostly def use this bag again even if he continues to break out using the same process above bc it is literally the ONLY way i cam even attempt to wash him. All n all its a good product n i believe that if u have a plan n work quickly it will work even for an extremely difficult pet!

The material is strong and prevents scratches but, it does not work for every cat. I have a kitten shelter and of course the items for their grooming are necessary, I hoped this would make my job easier. It was not so. This product is for calm cats that are used to grooming or at least don't get so scared, otherwise it will happen like my cat, no matter how much I adjust the neck strap it comes loose, there is no way for it to stay closed. the movements of a cat. He stuck his paw out through the neck. In the end, I had to pull it out completely trying to get out. He stuck his head inside the bag and started scratching. My recommendation is to cut the cat's nails before bathing him so that neither the cat nor you get hurt. The nails go through the fabric, it has little holes for the water to escape. I hope you have better luck than me with the product.

Does not do what it is intended to do unless your cat is very docile.
Too difficult to get my cat in this. Perhaps if the cat were more cooperative. But if he were a cooperative cap, I wouldn't need this. I would not recommend this at all.

Buy this if your cats are crazy (grooming bag)
I got the cat bathing bag because it's thicker. We have four cats. Two of them are fat and two of them are psychos when it comes to bathing. If you read through the reviews you'll see some people say their cats slipped out of this thing. After using it I can see how that could happen so I will give my advice to get the most out of this product. The first thing is make sure that it is tight. It should be tight around their neck. Not to the point where it's strangling them obviously but you should have some difficulty fitting a finger in there. The reason for this is because if they get a paw through, they are going to get out and or scratch you. Your biggest challenge is going to be getting them into the bag. As long as you do this properly and take the time to really make sure everything is tightened up, the bathing is a breeze. My advice is to put the neck part on first. Use the pulley to tighten it and then adjust the strap. After that getting them in is a lot easier. Three of my cats actively scream cry when I bathe them and the two youngest attempt to murder me every time. My older cat also attempts to escape but I'm usually able to hold her down, however the amount of strength that I need to do that with makes me uncomfortable because I don't want to be pushing down on an older cat with that much force, but if I don't, she'll jump out of the bathtub. The little ones are just straight up serial killers lol and they need to be held down with the same force that you would use to restrain a mental patient. The reason for all this backstory is because normally by the time I'm done bathing my cats I'm covered and scratches, sweating like I just ran a marathon, and my cats think I'm the devil for a week. This time after a little bit of struggle putting the cats in the bag, the bathing was easy. In fact one of my two psycho younglings actually enjoyed the bath. He even kind of calmed down and let me pet him through the bag on the outside. Ironically my fourth cat, who is normally really good with baths, scratched the hell out of me this time, and I had just told myself "We don't need to use this on him, he's great" 😭🤣😭 That was moments before he stuck his claws in my neck and tried to climb through my skin. If I had used the grooming bag on my fourth cat I would have been four for four for non-incidental baths. I can't recommend this enough. As long as I own cats I will have one of these. Again go for the grooming bag. I don't know what the experience is like with the other ones.

Not meant for chunky cats
Way too small! I have 5 cats in various sizes!! It barely fit the smallest one and didn’t even go halfway around the fat cats. Only get if you have short, small cats to bathe. Also it comes unzipped easy and the cat can slip out of it. Overall it was a nightmare but I still kept them because I already tried using it. I wouldn’t say it’s safe because of how easy it comes off. The quality is ok it has mesh for easy cleaning but I don’t like it. Don’t know if it is comfortable for the cat but they all disliked it very much.

Safe & Secure for Large & Strong Cats
Highly recommended for trimming nails for large and strong cats! My new foster to adopted kitty who is 17lbs plus was not on board for nail trimming but his strength and my health issues made is necessary for us both. He is too large and strong for a kitty burrito which we tried first but the reviews for this product has us thinking this might work! BINGO 🙌🏼 Yes… he was still not thrilled. What cat would be? But he gave in after some soothing reassurance and we quickly got to work and I safely got his nails trimmed! SUCCESS! And he was no worse for the wear 🐈 I am grateful to have this bag to keep us both safe and healthy and also to use if any other needs come up Like trip to vet or grooming & bathing. Not all Cats are the same, but My big boy who had just come home after the death of his original owner since he was weaned was made more comfortable and safe with this product and I am truly grateful! A+ product! We thank you ☺️
