2 Pcs Bike Disc Brake Rotors with 12 Bolts 140mm/160mm/180mm/203mm for MTB Mountain Road Bicycle BMX

I upgraded the brakes on my Santa Cruz MTB from dual piston standard brakes to some 4 piston heavy brakes. I was very surprised to discover that this brake upgrade changed the caliper spacing and my brakes no longer fit with the original 160mm rotors. So I ordered these larger 180mm rotors and some 10mm caliper spacers to make everything fit. Once I put everything together, these rotors were just what I needed. They were super easy to install and even come with new screws that have locktite pre-applied. This is a great feature to get with your rotor since sometimes the bolts can be lost or damaged. And you should always have locktite. I ordered these specific rotors because they look nice with the black painted center and silver edge. They have the appearance of floating rotors but are one solid piece of metal. I like the solid metal rotors more than floating rotors because they are more durable and resistant to warping from the heat. I've had some minor squeaking issues with these rotors but that has more to do with the brake pads than the rotors themselves. I expect this to go away once I have broken them in more. Overall, I'm super happy with these rotors. They are just what I needed for my brake upgrade. 10/10 stylish and functional. Highly recommend.

I bought the bike second hand , I bought it from a young guy ,who like to ride rough country , it was a little well used bike so some parts needed to be replaced , I ordered these bike disc brake rotors ,exact size , replaced bothe front and back brakes with no issues , good product , good price , if need be will order again

One of the torx bolts was malformed. Just reused old torx bolt. Everything else was fine. Straight rotors and the beaded in fine. Still good deal for money despite one bad bolt. Would buy again.

Easy to install and were nice and straight. I realized after using them a bit that the braking force pulsated a bit and guessed that there was a bit of oil or something on the rotors so stopped and cleaned them well with acetone (and why acetone? Because that's what I had on hand). Solved that little problem. Don't know if they came that way or if my oily little mitts got them contaminated but all good now.

Took a bit longer than usual receiving the package. I used Amazon prime thinking I would get it faster. Anyway, set up was a breeze. Test rode it only once. I wanted a stronger stopping power for my converted fat bike to a class 3 e-bike. The original came with a 160, figure changing the disc to a larger 203mm one is the least expensive way instead of purchasing a 4 piston brakes. It did the job. Rode for about 20 miles, pushing the bike to go up to 28mph then stopping. No squeak or noise. Couldn't tell you about heating issue because it was cold, about 38 degrees F. First impression so far it's good value for the size and style.

First off, I am using 160mm rotors and have my calipers mounted with the proper adapters for such case. My complaint comes in that the braking surface of these is only ~11.5 mm in section width. All the most common Shimano, Tektro, and TRP pads have a friction material section height of ~16mm, meaning 5mm of the pad will overhang the rotor surface except where the rotor spokes are located. This means as the wheel is spinning and brakes are applied, you get 6 “grabby” spots per wheel revolution. You can see the wear pattern on the rotor spokes in my image. I have been able to notice this grab as a vibration in my front tire under braking. It doesn’t not inspire confidence, which is something I simply prefer my brakes to do. My other set of name-brand rotors have a 16mm section width and the pad has no overhang off the rotor at any place. I have no issues with the quality of the product, it just lacks a bit of critical thought in design. It may work ok for you, but please take caution.

For the price these are great rotors. If you buy them you will notice that the edges are sharp and not rounded, which is a indication of either cancer machining or laser cut steel instead of the usual stamped steel that Shimano uses on their “cheap” rotors. These are quite durable as well as they have barely worn down much in the year that I have used them. Comparable I think personally to Shimano high end stuff. For 1.8mm thick rotors, they’re great.

For smaller pads as it’s fairly narrow. We’re flat and straight which is good for budget rotors. Used on smaller kids bike.
