I had been buying Bob's Red Mill Flax seed because it was the only brand the grocery store carried but it was so expensive I decided to try something different. This has no flat taste like the Bob's. Flat is the only way to describe it because although it does not have a taste really it is not fresh like Healthworks. Flax seed is. This is a great deal too I just wish they would do something about the packaging because once you open it the zip does not close up again so you have to put it in a air tight container - no big deal. Great product, good price, just wish you would change the packaging.

The color and flavor of the product is excellent. I bought the 3lbs bag and the bag's closing system is useless so I removed a star (yes, I initially opened the bag properly and the closing flaps were left intact): the flaps simply do not seal the bag properly and hermetically, so I'll have to go and buy a sealable jar big enough to transfer the product in.

I have a couple of tablespoons of this ground flax seed in my morning cereal just about every day. It has a nice, nutty flavor that blends right in - exactly what I want. I have purchased it several times already, and will continue to do so. I feel it’s the best value for ground flax seed on Amazon, and with Prime shipping that just sweetens the deal. Buy this product with confidence.

I have nothing but great things to say about this ground flax seed meal. I use it every morning for a keto genic “cereal“ and it has been very consistent. It’s a nice, fine grind, and I make sure not to heat it with anything other than hot water from my coffee maker so that I don’t destroy or oxidize any nutrients. I never put this product in the microwave. Oddly, one of my favorite things about the product is the zip seal at the top of the packaging. So many of the “reclosable“ bags of food are just a single line of plastic that fails as soon as there is anything in it. But this one is a lot higher quality. It actually shots and keeps things out. At least, that has been my experience. Perhaps this is why I haven’t had any issues with moths... Thanks to the reviewers who have commented about months in the product. I will keep my eye out for that, but I haven’t seen any myself.

I'm on my third order in the last 3 months. I'm using this to make a bread like product that is a lifesaver on my keto diet. It's mainly just flaxseed and water. This product works perfectly and is a great value for the money. Also, since I'm self isolating this means I don't have to worry about going out for bread. So glad I can get this delivered through Amazon!

I bought this to make lactation cookies and it worked well. I ended up likeing the taste so much I eat it raw mixed into dishes. It's great on waffles! I has a yummy nutty flavor that goes well with the syrup. You get ALOT in this bag, almost too much for me to use, but I'm not complaining. The bag is resealable which keeps it fresh.
