It's a hard copy and looks new to me. Nothing wrong with it. Great size. Love it

I love novels with many different stories, viewpoints, perspectives what have you... This version of death is hard to not love not to mention she is gorgeous. I think that would make it easier to let go. Having the grim reaper standing over you is a whole different ball game.

The art is beautiful, and the story is in engrossing. A must for fans of Sandman,

A compendium of the stories involving the single best character to come out of The Sandman franchise. While there are at least one or two original stories involving the character, Death, it is mostly collection of stories that are already in the other Sandman books, so if you already own those, you may not need to buy this unless you really want to pay the full price for the little bits that aren't in the other books. Still... I thought it was worth the purchase.

I love the book; I was aware that some of the pieces inside are also in my Sandman Volumes 1-5. The artwork is wonderful, and includes a gallery of Death as imagined by various artists. Note: this is Death from the books, not the Netflix series, so Death is a white girl/woman most of the time. The binding of the book was a little disappointing; the first pages were glued badly, and the glue showed. This might just have been my bad luck; it certainly wasn’t dire enough for me to bother returning it. It’s a beautiful book. The included piece where Death talks about AIDs and safe sex is worth the whole book.

From the artwork to the story this one is a perfect 5-star read. Neil Gaiman creates such a unique and intriguing character. I've read this one before and actually made this purchase as a gift for my daughter who has been getting more into graphic novels with female leads. Highly recommend!!
