Worth the money!
TITLE: Worth the money Guitar arrived intact and cosmetically flawless - beautiful from front to back, top to bottom. Might not be playable right out of the box like mine was. After changing the strings to Ernie Ball 10-74 Nickel Wound, adjusting the action, attempted intonation adjustments (saddle screw too short), and tightening the tuning pegs - it's working quite well. NOTE: If you don't change the strings right after you get the guitar, you won't hear the potential of the full 8-Strings. The low "B" and "F#" strings will flop around like wet noodles. Would buy from this vendor again - 5-Star !!

4 because it's SO INEXPENSIVE. 3 is maybe more accurate.
This guitar uses a 25.5" neck scale.. That does NOT work well with 8-strings! You're lowest string will be floppy as #3ll. That is why a lot of them are multi-scale, or just 27" necks (please read about this). It has to do with proper tension on the strings. Notice the neck length on bass's??.. *Flaws; With mine, the neck pickup simply died. No idea why. The little plastic circular "guards" where the strings enter the back of the guitar, all fell out during a string change. I put them back in, but they are soooo loose and will all likely fall out again. I suppose not a big deal.. *Good points; Sound and pickups are NOT BAD at all!! Paint, color, appearance is pretty good!! I thought the tuning keys were okay. Price is super low for a guitar like this. String height is pretty decently adjustable. Good responsive truss! Overall... Get a used Ibanez, or Jackson. Similar price, but much better build.

Great cheap 8 string guitar (needs setup)
Everyone was right about it coming with three E strings when you buy it. So you're going to need to buy some actual 8 string strings when you get this. I went super big 21-90. So I did have to drill the tuning peg out and it took about an hour to set up and get everything right. The guitar is actually very beautiful it looks very well made although it seems like there's some cheap parts here and there. But all in all for the price what more can you ask for? There was barely any blemishes if any. Was expecting less honestly. You might want to pay someone to set it up properly I guess I kind of got lucky and made it sound pretty good. I'm not that amazing at guitar so this was a good way to try out an 8 string and see if it's something I even like. I like. Get strings!

Great for the money
If you want to test out an 8 string this is a good starter. You will want heavier gauge 7 and 8 strings , go to 80 gauge on 8. It comes with 66 gauge and is not tight enough to play

Worth twice the price or more
If you make sure to replace the guitar strings, you might find that this is your new favorite guitar. I looked for about a year for an 8 string, and not a single decent one could be found under $800 other than a black ESP which looked cheap. I took a gamble on this, I figured it's cheap enough that even if it's just an okay guitar it would be worth the money. This guitar has completely exceeded my expectations. The fretboard feels great, almost zero adjustment needed out of the box (except strings, love me some NYXL's), and it even comes with a canvas carrying case. I only have two complaints, that the finish of the guitar is more matte than shown in the photos, so the color is more muted than I expected, and that the tuners/selector/knobs feel somewhat plastic like. Neither are big deals at this price. Usually you get what you pay for but this time, you get so much more.

Great guitar if you get it set up right and put good strings on it.
I bought this about 4 years ago, never got around to making a review. All in all a great guitar, but expect to have to get is set up right and put a good set of strings on it. Mine as received was unplayable, the F3 and B were way too small and just flopped around, height at the nut and the saddles was too high, the saddle positions were not intonated right, the edges of the frets were sharp. After I fixed all those things myself and replaced the strings it plays great.

You can't beat this for the money
This is an incredibly good deal for this type of guitar I don't care if you have to take it to guitar shop and get it set up I don't care if you have to search eBay to get better pickups you can't beat this for the price and if you think you can you're tripping. Honestly don't see any problem with it as it is. The string height is good out of the box all you have to do is set the intonation I don't know what else you want.

Worth it!
Definitely worth the price. The strings needed immediate replacement and it needed some minor setup and intonation work, but it turned out to be a really decent guitar. Might upgrade the electronics sometime down the road, but I'm happy with it for now.
