Taste of Japan #2 - Kasugai Gummy with Real Fruit Juice Sampler Party Pack (12 Bags, At Least 6 Flavors !) - 3.57 Lbs

I've been eating Kasugai gummies for years though only recently started buying them online since the store that normally sold them closed down. It's significantly cheaper to get them in bulk than individually at a specialty store and they still taste great! The gummies are always tasty, and the variety is nice, since they're individually packed I can open a pack and not have to worry about eating all of them at once and can keep them mixed in containers. My only complaint is that I've ordered this a few times and have yet to get the Watermelon or lemon packs that are in the image nor the Kiwi flavor I know Kasugai sells and was my favorite, in fact it was the same grouping of 2 Mango, 2 Strawberry, 2 Peach, 2 Leechie, 2 Grape, and 2 mixed packs. I don't know if there's premade groups that are sent out and it was just an odd fluke or if all of them are the same.

A co-worker went to Epcot and brought back three bags of these candies for the office. So Good. I ate way more than my share, so I ordered 12 bags for the office. The discount for buying 12 bags makes this a good call. I paid less per bag on Amazon than my colleague did at Epcot. I am new to Kasugai Gummy candies. There is no American candy that uses fruit juice to get a flavor profile so much like the real thing. These are the best gummy / jelly candies I have ever had.

I received at least 5 different flavors (mango, kiwi, strawberry, peach, lychee, grape mix, tropical fruit mix), with duplicates of a few. They arrived in great condition, fresh, not melted or weird in any way, and tasted fantastic. Too fantastic... where I kept eating them, and it's for the best that I ran out. definitely recommend these if you like gummy candies with real fruit flavor.

I was hoping for more variety, but I did get 2 ea of 6 different packs, and that was stated as possible. 4 of the packages were 2 different variety packs, that held the same flavors recieved in individual packs. But I did get lychee as both 2 individual packs and in 2 of the variety packs, which I was hoping most for. They're all delicious and soft! It's good, but more variety would make this a better deal!

I don't know if I was lucky or what, or if the company just improved their game, but I got a perfect assortment of candies. All gummies, no hard candies. The packages I got were: 1 grape, 2 pineapple, 2 assorted, 1 muscat grape, 1 peach, 2 strawberry and 2 kiwi. Who could ask for anything more? Upon tasting them, though, a bunch have a weird chemical flavor. It may be me. Maybe buying in bulk just reduces pverall enjoyment. It is always such a pleasant surprise to find a Kasugai gummy in someone's candy dish. Like finding a 20 in your pocket. Maybe I should've stuck with that instead of getting greedy.

Some people mentioned how they received some packages that were past their best by date. All of mine had dates between April and July 2020 (purchased December 2019). All 12 of the packages I received were different flavors, no duplicates. I loved these during my college days (20+ years ago) when I lived close to a Japanese grocery that carried them. It was great to find them again and the whole family loves the flavors. Just like I remembered them.

I love these Japanese gummies! The flavors are unique and strong. I can just eat one or two and not have an upset stomach like with American gummies. This is the best deal around and the variety was amazing! Only one duplicate in the entire bunch. Expiration dates were far in to the future. Fast delivery via FedEx. Cannot recommend these guys and this product enough!

ALL TIME FAVORITE GUMMIES. I love these. I put them in a glass jar and eat them all the time. They are so good! Kind of reminds me of those spongebob Krabby Patty gummies from the early 2000s (iykyk). The peach ones are #1 and the kiwi as a close runner up.
