I have used this style of wall anchor for many years. They are easy to install. I use a stud finder to make sure there is not a stud (they won't work directly over a stud, just use a screw in that case). I use an ice pick to mark the spot. This makes it easier to push the guide tab into the wall and makes sure it goes in exactly where I want it to. Don't over tighten the screw, which is easy to do with an electric driver. It should be obvious, but don't try to hang more weight than is recommended . If you need serious strength, a toggle bolt or more invasive anchor is more appropriate.

I use these for everything. I love the face that theyre small and sturdy. Takes 15 seconds to spin and drill with obviously a screwdriver.

Great anchor that greatly outperforms the "push-in" anchors usually included for hanging purposes. I always throw those out and use these instead. And no drilling needed to install these anchors - they are self tapping.

This item is a very poor design. The anchor screws into the wall great. The problem is that the screws that they give you are TOO LONG! When the screw backs up against the anchor, the force to split the anchor is more than the force from the sheetrock, so the anchor just rips the sheetrock and twists inside the wall rendering it worthless. I have purchased higher capacity anchors from other manufactures and they work excellent because they leave a break in the back of the anchor for the screw to pierce through. The problem is obvious as soon as it happens to you. But now I have to patch the sheetrock because the holes I have are too close together to use the larger anchors that would work. Advice to the manufacturer: either provide different lengths of screws,or at the very least, warn people about using the enclosed screws because they are too long.

These hold up so well. I will never use another anchor. Buy for the weight you need and you won’t be disappointed.

Did the job but a few fell apart. I knew better than to let them drill their own hole but I thought I would give it a try. The money made them worth the buy though.
