Snow Peak Ti Single Wall 450 Mug, Ocean Green

I bought this cup planning to use it as my pot on shorter backpacking trips. I usually hike by myself, and only eat dehydrated foods that i prepare myself, so only need 300-400mL of water per meal, so this would have been perfect. However, I now backpack with a partner and needed to move up to a larger pot. Still carry the cup to use as a cup. It's light and durable. What more do you need in a cup for backpacking? If you are planning to use the cup only for holding hot fluids, i.e. you will not be boiling water in the cup itself, I would recommend a double wall cup. They will keep its contents hot longer, plus the outside wall won't heat up, so no burning of fingers. Double wall of course weights more... Overall, Love it.

Size about a coffee mug. The product description says "you can put it directly on fire" but the description over the box says "do that only if you want a rainbow-mutant mug". But it's Ti, therefore is a lightweight and durable item, and will be not a problem if you left it rest and cool after fire. The blue color is fantastic but don't forget wash it with sponge and soft soap.

I wanted a cup and set that fits together and is lightweight - weight was critical. Cup fits inside the Snow peak ti multi compact cookset, and then the snow peak small stove fits inside the cup - excellent. Quality of the cup is great. Don't put the cup on an open flame - it will deform. But it keeps the drink hot enough for a long enough period to enjoy the drink. It is not a double walled cup.

30 dollars for a cup is crazy, however it is now my favorite cup. It is simple, very lightweight and made to last a lifetime. Since I got it all my other cups stay clean and in the cabinet. This one gets used and cleaned several times daily. I could actually downsize my cup collection to one, this one. I will never buy another cup unless this one wears out and If it does ill spend 30 dollars on another one.

I love how light weight the cup is, but in 1 day of travel the nice blue color is already fading and rubbing off on the outside. The discoloration is from the natural oil of my hands! (not one drop of liquid has been poured in these photos)

The snow peak, single walled titanium cup is absolutely fantastic! Even though I have not yet got to use it in the woods or the snow cooking over an open fire. It has become part of my daily kit, as it is nice to have around when all you want is a single cup of tea or coffee easily clips to a vet tech using the Caribbean it through one or both of the collapsible handles. And when necessary, if stacks nicely against the bottom of my clean canteen I'm considering ordering several more of these as birthday gifts for friends and family, because although they are somewhat expensive for camping cup, the snow peak has managed to take all the drops, bumps and rigors of daily life in stride and with every adventure. It only seems to develop even more character. I'm very satisfied with the purchase, and aside from the birthday gifts will probably be ordering at least one or two more of these handy little cups for my own personal use.

Overall good cup. Convenient, light and well made. Five stars if it had a lid. I like that Snow Peak has various sizes to fit your preference.
